- "When I first got the premise, it was limited at best and dreadful at worst. People crashing on an island -- how many possible permutations can you get out of that?"
- "In Hollywood, it's normal to have white men with black women, but the reverse is too threatening. It's not an issue for me or the people I know, so everyone should fucking get with it."
- "Tony Blair will be remembered as a liar and a hypocrite. The thing about Margaret Thatcher is she never pretended to be anything other than what she was. Blair had this odious veil of good intention and Christian piety, which was really kind of disgusting."
- "Jimi Hendrix was the greatest guitarist who ever lived, and nobody has ever approached what he managed to do with the instrument. It was like he came from outer space."
- "Older women know who they are, and that makes them more beautiful than younger ones. I like to see a face with some character. I want to see lines. I want to see wrinkles."
- "I have to make money, I have to feed my kids, blah, blah, fucking blah. But I also have to live with myself."
- "A slice of hot, buttered toast is the perfect meal. It's not too much and not too little, and it gives you just the right buzz."

Gotta love a guy who gets a buzz off of toast and butter! [/sarcasem]

Naveen needs to school himself with a little Prince. At least then he'll know that someone has approched Mr Hendrix's playing many times!

I cant get over the fact that hes like 40 something. He might even be 50 I cant remember. He does not look it.

i hate to do this but i can't stand it when celebrities talk about politics. I came up with my own little bullet for Naveen.
--Naveen Andrews will be remembered as just another celebrity who doesn't like politicians.
naveen andrews to me has always seemed way too full of himself. Oh look at me I date an older white woman, I'm breaking all the rules. The fact is that nobody cares one way or another which is what he should want, but he still wants people to talk about it.

give him a break 4 comment-ors, he's a person, not just a celebrity. and he's fucking awesome, i loved that. hope there is more of him in season 4 than there was in season 3

Yeah, the magazine itself contains the same thing. Oh, and the Stephen King story The Gingerbread Girl is worth the read.

Haha, no, don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore his character in LOST, Sayid is definitely one of my favorites! The buzz from toast thing just struck me funny.

I kind of like the fact that he "pops off" in interviews. It's a lot more entertaining than most of the cast interviews. He sounds like he's a bit more comfortable with the celebrity that Lost has brought him, less guarded.
He seems like a pretty worldly person that knows what he wants out of life. His cockiness or percieved arrogance is probably what enables him to to the portray the role of Sayid so well. Shocking! An actor with a huge ego.

If I had to be "LOST" on an Island, I'd choose Mr. Blair's company more so than that jackass.

OH NOES A CELEBRITY DARED TO TALK ABOUT POLITICS! How dare he do such an awful thing?! Naveen should know that as soon as he became famous he forfeited any right to comment about politicians.
Excuse me while I roll my eyes, please. Why shouldn't celebrities talk about politicians? If you're not interested, fine. But acting as though he shouldn't talk about certain subjects just because he's famous is bloody stupid.

Trust me,in the UK, the sentiments about Blair are really are'nt really popular, for the obvious reasons. Since its an interview, I'm pretty sure it wasnt some random outburst....he's still one of the coolest dogs on the show

naveen is cool...blair is a douche...it's quite simple really
