This is my long-winded way of saying that I'll always look forward to any Lost episode written by Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. They wrote three of my all time favorite episodes last season: "Tricia Tanaka is Dead," "Exposé," and "Greatest Hits." For crafting those three hours of fantastic television, they'll forever be on my radar.
The dynamic writing duo recently spoke to Sci Fi Wire about what it's been like to finish up season 4 now that the strike has ended. Here's what they had to say:
"The last two weeks before the strike, we actually sat down and said, 'Here is what we want to tell for the rest of the season,'" Kitsis said. "We all sat down, and the entire staff came up with a battle plan in place."
Now that the strike has wrapped up, Kitsis added, "We got to tell a little more story this season than we anticipated. It's really worked out well. We came back from the strike, and everyone is just really excited, and I have to say, creatively, every day has been a pleasure. Everything we're doing right now is exciting, and every script that is going out, you're jealous if you didn't write it."
Regarding the three missing episodes from season 4 that will be added in at a later date, Kitsis said, "I have a feeling it will mean more, like, two-hour shows as opposed to more episodes, but those are decisions above our pay grade."
Head on over to Sci Fi Wire to read the entire interview, and talk about your own favorite Lost writers below.

If so, we want to hear from you. Send your own Lost theories, reviews, or general thoughts to Editor(at)TheTailSection.com. Please keep all submissions between 300 and 1,000 words. So we got 8 episodes prior to the strike and starting 4/24 we get 5 more to wrap up Season 4? Can someone confirm this for me?

I'll confirm that for you. But I must say I don't know anything.

It's funny you mention these two writers... A couple of days ago I was watching an old show called "Popular", on which those two writers were story editors.
On thing I notice is that, in LOST, there's a lot of references of old stories they wrote (or edited). Like, for example, in "Popular", there was a girl who worked on a Los Angeles chicken shack called "Mr. Clucks". And the symbol of the company is basically the same as the one used in LOST.
Just a curiosity about those two I wanted to share...
