Lost Easter Eggs
In a new interview with USA Today, Henry Ian Cusick gave a sneak peek about what we can expect on tonight's new episode of Lost.  He confirms that Desmond will be having time travel flashes as opposed to flashbacks or flash forwards, and also mentions that we'll find out who Ben's man on the freighter is within the next few episodes. The spoilers in the article are pretty minor, so read them if you dare.

desmond is by far my favorite character. he is so complex and his story is so deep i hope he is around for a long time. i really see him getting off the island, although not as one of the ocianic six because obviously he wasnt on the plane. what do you guys think about desmond and his future on the show?

I bet Michael is the man on the freighter.

Something gets to me about last night's episode. Desmond and Penny are talking at the end and Penny says, "your friend Charlie told me." Was the friend who opened the door Charlie? I think Desmond is one of his constants too. Just a thought

OK, heres the deal, I am betting that SAYID is the man on the boat! why you ask? because Ben Linus has learned to manipulate the time jumps like Desmond was having. If you look up the "Montauk Project" i think you will find further reading into what happened to Desmond. If i remember correctly, Ben is from Long Island NY where the montauk project supposedly happened. This could explain a number of things. Namely Ben knew he would have Sayid on the boat, and the guy that opened the door was the helicopter pilot. Seems that he along with daniel are more interested in helping the survivors of 815 rather than keeping them in a position of helplessness. Ben is never worried about being locked up because as he "leaps" he can always find a way to manipulate circumstances in his favor. Remember what Miles said, "I know what you can do" that is a clue that he is a leaper. not only that, he could have amassed a wealth of knowledge, and money by twisting fate in his favor. I don't think we will be seeing michael until the cliffhanger, and ben linus may not be the evil in all of this. By the way i think miles is working for alvar hanso himself. Things will get really really strange before anything will make sense.
