LOST Book Reviews
Harold Perrineau may be pretty pissed off about his character's fate on Lost, but it looks like he's getting right back to work after being blown sky high.  According to The Hollywood Reporter:

Harold Perrineau, who plays Michael on ABC's Lost, has been tapped for a one-hour ABC pilot called The Unusuals. The show is a dramedy set at a New York police precinct. Perrineau plays Det. Leo Banks, a worrisome cop who never takes off his Kevlar because he's always afraid that he might die. Perrineau's character died in the season finale of Lost last week. The actor next stars in the Sony prison drama Felon.

After Harold Perrineau's masterful "boo-hoo" session regarding his return and demise from Lost - I don't think I will be tuning in to see ANYTHING with him in it again (and BTW - if it was truly "bloodlust" from the viewing public which acted as his exit - he should be pleased the viewers wanted him back AT ALL!!! The viewers are what is important. Without ratings, shows die. As an actor he should have a bit more respect for the audience and the writing staff). He is an incredibly talented actor and I have very much enjoyed him on Lost and other entertainment outlets, however, when he starts pulling the "race card" I get turned off. If anything in the stroy arc had to do with race I would appreciate his concerns. But to listen to him whine over multiple outlets as the casue for his demise from the show completly turns me off.

That's funny. I thought the viewers wanted him back, seeing as I'm a viewer myself. I don't see him as being "lucky" to be back AT ALL. I really expected the writers to deliver something well thought out on behalf of the Michael character, and I was sorely let down. They had a chance to turn his character around and instead they gave him a death as meaningless and unpopular as Nikki and Paulo. What he said in those interviews may have been a bit hasty and completely wrong on his part, but it seems like it was an emotional reaction to how the writing staff completely fudged his character. I don't blame him for his outburst. Even he agrees that he should have thought before speaking, in regards to the "race" comments. But he was pissed, and his emotions got the better of him. It happens to the best of us. After the absence of Michael after season 2, and his well anticipated return in season 4, he (along with the viewers) were screwed. And the much needed redemption for his character was not found.

I'll watch anything he's in and give it a chance, because to judge his work based on a few hot-headed comments is foolish, naive, and completely ignorant.

sawyers#1girl? what are you, seven years old? grow up.
