It's a Sopranos year anyways, so even if Lost got noms in the major categories, it wouldn't have won.

Hopefully it will win in some of the categories it DID get nominated for.

Also, with the hype from the finale, I have a feeling Season 4 will be a fresh start for the series and will dominate the Emmy's next year.

Not surprised Fox and Lilly got snubbed. I didn't think deserved nominations anyway. Jack wasn't so stellar this year, and Kate hasn't had a good flashback since Season 1.

Otherwise, it's a shame Elizabeth Mitchell got the shaft. I mean, 3 Grey's Anatomy and 2 Sopranos actresses for best supporting actress? Doesn't the Academy know that sharing is caring?

The way I see it, nabbing TWO drama supporting actor spots ain't nothing to scoff at. But I'm baffled that Heroes (submission "Genesis") snagged a drama series spot over Lost (submission "Through the Looking Glass"). Wasn't Lost submission last year the reason everyone said it didn't get the nom? In what world is "Genesis" a better episode than "Through the Looking Glass"? Is Heroes really that much more popular than Lost? (The nomination was determined by a combination popular vote and episode submission vote.)

Also, Elizabeth Mitchell should have been nominated, but that would have required her to make the top ten list in the first place, which would have required the voters to actually watch the show, since she doesn't have name recognition.

Drama supporting actor is HUGELY competative. Personally, I think Henry Ian Cusick deserved a nom as well, but there just aren't enough spots. (And I'm satisfied/thrilled with Lost taking TWO of the ones available.)

genesis wasn't even the best episode of heroes. I swear, its like the emmy committee is just BEGGING Lost fans to burn down...the...emmy building? I wanna burn down something, because I don't believe prime-time soap operas (gray's anatomy) and shows that were supposed to already have ended (sopranos) should be nominated. Also, I don't think premium channels deserve nominations at all, they can do anything they want.

You say Lost was shut out but that's your own blindness. A nomination for best directing? Best writing? Supporting character? Those are nothing to be dissapointed with. Sometimes I think the only thing that will make you happy is a best drama nomination. There ARE other catagories. I think Lost got exactly what it deserved, recognition for some damn good storytelling. It doesn't need the best drama title anymore, it got that year one and yay for that but new shows come out and things move on.

People complain about it deserving more...it's three years old, it HAS it's fan base, and we're happy with the show. I don't need to convince the whole world that my favorite show is the best show. I know it is.

I like Locke and all, but Ben brings such a strong presence to the show. The character has this aura, that I can't really explain. I feel that Ben was the star of Season 3. I hope Emerson wins.
