Lost Theories
The writers should have just named last night's episode of Lost "Easter Eggs" instead of "Cabin Fever."  I'm pretty sure I actually had awesome little multicolored eggs pouring out of my television screen during last night's amazing hour.  Anyway, some of the hidden gems from "Cabin Fever" include Keamy's DHARMA documents, Locke's Geronimo Jackson obsession, the Mystery Tales comic, and the reappearance of the Mittelos corporation.

Check out the article and the screen caps here.

Awesome note about Buddy Holly.

Is that what the sand looks like in Hawaii? (never been there) At first I thought it was the white stuff surrounding the cabin, but not likely.

I don't know if I would call these "Easter Eggs" as much as I would call them "misinterpretations of items that aren't necessarily hidden". The author thinks that Keamy was wearing a time machine? Why would that prevent the captain from shooting him? A more simple explanation would be that it's attached to something that will go off if Keamy dies. And Horace is an Easter Egg?? Why not say that Jack is an Easter Egg too?

I think the thing strapped to Keamy's arm is a detonator for a bomb that will "torch" the island. I bet it measures his pulse and will go off if his heart stops. This prevents anyone from killing him.

I had a good google around and can't find this anywhere else, but the Incubator that John (as a premature baby) is in is far too modern to be of 1950's origin.

Great episode! Locke always has a great episode, hopefully there will be a Sawyer one soon.

I feel that this episode answered a lot of questions but still had some great ones that popped up. What is the deal with Claire??

Did anyone else notice how Locke's adoptive(?) mother Florence looks almost exactly like Helen? If this was intentional (which I have to believe it was) can we then assume it was Ben's mother whom Juliet was supposed to resemble, further establishing the parallels between Locke and Ben?

I thought John's birth mother looked incredibly like Claire in a couple of the shots, especially as she is being wheeled down the hospital corridor before giving birth (she even said "My baby!" haha).

The device hooked up to Keamy is a bio-neuro enhancement unit using nanotechnology and
pharmachemical technology that turns him into UBER-Keamy antagonist SS-Wannanbe.
The U.S. Military has been full speed ahead developing super soldier technology for awhile now: http://www.technologyreview.com/Nanotech/12973/ if you read the article closely, you see how eerily spot on it is. another bit of interesting though a tad dryer read can be found here: http://www.wtec.org/ConvergingTechnologies/1/NBIC_report.pdf

Cheers!

slight problem with the arm-gadget concept though, a gadget on the inner left bicep would severely impede the use of an assault rifle, as the left arm is usually held against the body for supprt...

Is it just me or is anyone think that Matthew Abaddon is WALT!
Perhaps this is why the writers were never too worried about his growing up to fast... he was always gonna be recast as an adult.

This would explain why he "knows" Locke and asked Hurley "Are they still alive"

I am getting tired of Locke....why couldnt he just die when Ben shot him...the only part i liked in Cabin Fever was Hurly and Ben
