Wow. In keeping with the tradition of this season, once again Lost has left me absolutely bumfuzzled. Trying to see where this season is going is impossible. Lost has become an M.C. Escher painting reflected in a mirror, shredded into a thousand pieces then reassembled at random.
Which isn’t to say it isn’t great. In fact, I find myself loving this season more than any other. In past seasons, storylines became predictable and we all knew where things were going, so watching became a chore, waiting until the inevitable. Now, nothing is certain.

ABC doesn’t have any official photos for this week’s “The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham,” probably because any and every image of John Locke’s journey off the Island would be too spoiler-ific to release.
However, there are photos from next week’s episode “Lafleur.” This episode goes back to Sawyer and the rest of the Island gang after Locke’s disappearance. It also features a ton of cool guest stars, including Patrick Fischler (the wacky actor Jimmy Barret from Mad Men) and Reiko Aylesworth from 24. She joins a number of other 24 actors to show up on Lost, including Daniel Dae Kim and Alan Dale. Click here to see the official photos from “Lafleur.”

Trying to put my thoughts about “316″ into words is a little tricky. You see, I loved this episode. I mean really loved it. I’m talking about instant classic, definite top 5, maybe best episode ever. While watching it on a computer in the office, my co-workers repeatedly asked me if I was OK because of the number of times I either gasped out loud or shouted “No way!” out loud.
“316″ was a great episode, mostly because it was so unexpected. When we learned the Oceanic 6 all needed to go back to the Island. I assume it would happen at the end of this season, or maybe a bit earlier. I didn’t think, nor do I suspect any other fan suspected, that they would all make it back in the sixth episode.

John Locke is off the Island and Ms. Hawking is starting to reveal her plot about getting back. This season has been spectacular, with a ton of huge twists in every episode, so what will “316″ bring?
As a reminder, here’s what ABC has to say about the episode: “The way back to the island is revealed to members of the Oceanic 6, but there’s trouble ahead when not all of them wish to return.”

You can learn a lot from reading ABC’s official press releases for the episodes, and in the next two weeks, we’ll learn a lot more about how the Oceanic 6 plan to go back and what John Locke did when he got off the Island.

So Charlotte is dead. After avoiding death for the whole season, she finally lost to the time jumps, but not before revealing some pretty major twists. Not only does she speak Korean, but she also used to live on the Island.
If she’s to be believed, she was a child on the Island and her parents worked for the DHARMA Initiative, but one day a scary man told her to leave and never come back. Obviously hearing of a red-headed girl who lived on the Island as a child makes every Lost fan think of Annie, Ben’s childhood friend, but does that make any sense?
