Where Are Rose and Bernard?
I have a confession: I watch a lot of bad TV. But it was thanks to this that I came up with an honest Lost question: where are Rose and Bernard?
Sam Anderson has been guest starring on the huge Grey’s Anatomy/Private Practice crossover event, and while she hasn’t shown up again, there’s been a lot of talk about Ricky’s foster mom on ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager, a role played by L. Scott Caldwell. See, I told you I watch bad TV.
But more importantly, where are the pair of adorable old lovers? After the hailstorm of flaming arrows, the castaways on the Island got separated, and Rose and Bernard have been MIA ever since, time jumping through the years.
In my mind, I imagine they’re having awesome adventures, the kind of stuff webisodes were designed for. Perhaps they’re running into familiar faces, meeting some of the other background characters in the past. The truth is that we’ve seen so little of them that there’s a possibility Rose and Bernard met themselves in the past and just neglected to tell anyone.
Maybe Rose met herself in the past, which can explain why she had so much faith in the Island. Or maybe they took Vincent away. Wherever they are, odds are good that they’re alive and having one heck of a time going through all these time jumps.
Thus far, neither Caldwell nor Anderson are listed in the guest starring credits for the next three episodes, so it doesn’t look like we’ll be getting answers any time soon. Hopefully the show is just building up for an awesome Rose and Bernard flashback episode. But if they don’t return soon, I may have to send out an S.O.S.

Im searching the net for all things Lost and all I get is were are Rose&Bernard! Too be honest I love the two of them, not to shore were there story line is going besides possibly Adam&Eve, but ye, there awsum! and probably still waiting by the creek for Sawyer and co!
Charlotte Staples Lewis, knows more about Ancient Carthage than Hannibal himself!
Ancient Carthage, founded 814 BC was an Empire in north Africa, Capital was in Tunisia, one of there emperors was called Hannibal.
Anyway The Temple, The secret door in Bens secret room, had hieroglyphs on them, which I thought instantly must be Egyptian, turns out Egypt was part of Ancient Carthage.
When Ben turned the wheel, he was transported to Tunisia, there is a deleted scene(shape of things to come)Ben finds a Well by were he teleported to, just like the Well lock fell down!
What Im saying is: The Dharma Initiative were researching Ancient Carthage as they were on the Island prior to the DI, because they had left there temple, there statue and there Well, plus there is some sort of Gateway/Wormhole/Black hole between North Africa and the Island, this is also why Yemi’s drug plane ends up on the Island and why Charlotte found a polar bear in the Sahara.
Casting Information has a character called Cesar making an appearance soon, hopefully this will shed sum light on Tunisia and its really deep wells.
The story of the Island doesn’t start with the Others, The D.I. or the survivors of the Black Rock. It begins alot earlier than that, I’d say Before or around 814 BC
A Richard Albert flash back would come in real handy, The 4 toed statue has to be from Ancient Carthage, I wonder who’s face is on it??????????????????????????????????????????
(sorry for being so off topic by the way, just felt like having a rant, got so many theories flying around my head, just trying to find a begining,so I can try and figure out the end)

I posed the question, “Where are Rose and Benard?” like two weeks ago. I am the biggest lost fan there is, but its ridiculous how they have just left them out of the story. There should have at least been a scene showing them together looking for the rest of the group.
For the past few years Rose and Benard are only showing up in random episodes, only to reappear for the season finale. I guess the writers/producers decided they werent integral to the show.

I freaking LOVE Bernard and Rose! Their cranky husband/wife dynamic is one of my favorite relationships in the show. And Sam is a really nice guy; I met him when I was stealing comic books from Borders a few months ago, which he thought was hilarious. He was very tight-lipped about the show, but when I asked if the Bernard/Rose thing had gone as far as it could, he said ‘They’re not important characters, but they’re not going anywhere.’ ???? Who knows?
It’d be a shame if they were just dropped..
