UPDATE: So now Michael Ausiello at EW.com is chiming in with reports from ABC that the rumor is false and that Lilly is under contract through the next season. But is ABC being honest or trying to misdirect fans?
So Korbi over at Zap2It.com is saying that Kate’s fate isn’t so good on the Island. Her sources tell her that Evangeline Lilly is currently auditioning for pilots for next season, suggesting her schedule will be free.
Is Kate getting killed off, or is sge hyst going to be put on ice for most of the season a la Claire? Read Korbi’s full story here.
John Locke is alive! Last night’s episode was a little jarring because some crazy stuff started happening. Looking for Easter Eggs, the Numbers were all over the place, from Widmore’s telephone extension to Helen’s date of death. There was also plenty of religious imagery around Locke, from his sandals to the hardware store where he bought the extension cord. There were also some notable minor guest stars, from a woman who has now been in three episodes to a member of the crew who got to be on screen. Check out the Easter Eggs from “The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham.”
Once again, Lost provided an episode that absolutely blew my mind and left me speechless. Even as I try now, I can’t quite figure out what to write. That may have something to do with the fact that I don’t know what the heck is going on.
I guess John Locke was reincarnated or somehow brought back to life, but even that I’m not sure of. Is he real on the Island with Caesar and Ilana? Is that actually the present, or did he go back to some time where he wasn’t dead? If that makes no sense, it’s because it doesn’t.

Here’s the official word on tonight’s episode: “Locke’s fateful mission off the island as Jeremy Bentham is revealed.”
Will there be answers for all of your questions about John Locke and his purpose in life and on the Island? Comment below with your predictions, hopes, or reaction to this episode.
“The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham” was originally supposed to air last week, and “316″ was supposed to air this week. That should be a pretty good indication that tomorrow’s episode is as close to a standalone as Lost can offer.
ABC released three clips from the episode that provide some clues about what we can see. In the first, we learn where John Locke shows up after teleporting off the Island. In the second, we see the second meeting between John Locke and Charles Widmore as we find out when Locke landed. In the third, we find out who Matthew Abaddon is and what his role is.

ABC doesn’t have any official photos for this week’s “The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham,” probably because any and every image of John Locke’s journey off the Island would be too spoiler-ific to release.
However, there are photos from next week’s episode “Lafleur.” This episode goes back to Sawyer and the rest of the Island gang after Locke’s disappearance. It also features a ton of cool guest stars, including Patrick Fischler (the wacky actor Jimmy Barret from Mad Men) and Reiko Aylesworth from 24. She joins a number of other 24 actors to show up on Lost, including Daniel Dae Kim and Alan Dale. Click here to see the official photos from “Lafleur.”

Kate made Jack promise never to ask her about what she did with Aaron, and while he agreed, fans certainly didn’t. Aaron’s fate was one of the biggest questions left in “316,”
On the pier, Kate went off with Aaron, and nearly 24 hours later, he was gone and Kate was in Jack’s place. What happened to Claire’s “bay-bay” is a total mystery.

Sayid left the pier, wanting no part in Ben and Jack’s plan to go back to the Island. Then 36 hours later, he was being escorted onto Ajira Airways flight 316 by a U.S. federal marshal. What happened in that time is quite a mystery.
The biggest question is whether Ilana is actually a marshal. Given everything we’ve seen, I would tend to believe that she’s not. Ben has proven himself quite resourceful with plenty of friends wherever he goes. There was even a reference to Gabriel and Jeffrey, making at least two unseen and unknown co-conspirators.

ABC has released official photos from Wednesday’s episode. Since they feature the Oceanic 6 and others all on the plane, it’s pretty obvious why they didn’t release them before the episode aired.
Do these photos help explain anything or provide any extra clues? I’m not sure, but they certainly include a few moments that were not in the episode, and they feature Caesar and Ilana (the man behind Jack in line and the U.S. marshal), so we should be seeing plenty more of those two.
