‘Lost’ Season 5 Hint #12
We’re in the home stretch, so it’s time for these hints to get even juicier and more exciting. Today I will let you know that in the season 5 premiere, someone dies. Well, actually more than one person dies, but there’s one person in particular.
This person who dies is someone we’ve certainly seen before, and someone who was a survivor on Oceanic 815. Not only does this person die, but the manner in which it happens is both shocking and awesome, and who does the killing is just as important as who Name

Well considering that the new series can have flashes from the past, present and future all intertwined, it’s not that shocking that someone could die. It doesn’t mean that they’ll be dead from now on, it’ll probably just show how someone’s gonna end up. Alternatively it could be someone who is already dead in the present… I’m thinking Radzinsky, seeing as the first few episodes are supposed to have Dharma-days scenes.

maybe it is locke, we might get to see how locke, dies and who does it.
Comment by jolman — January 16, 2009 @ 12:43 pm
I don’t think Locke dies. I think he was poisoned by the spider venom to appear dead.
Comment by King Magnus — January 16, 2009 @ 1:56 pm
What does that last sentence mean? “Just as important as who NAME?”
Comment by Who Name? — January 16, 2009 @ 3:08 pm
ooooooo tough 1…
locke is probaly the best guess?? but am not sure who it is…? god thats annoying. av seen a preview of sayid and jack fighting? could one kill the other? this is lost, it is possible?
can wait now!
Comment by ben jackson — January 16, 2009 @ 3:22 pm
it doesnt show jack and sayid fighting it actually shows two different scenes of jack fighting someone and another with sayid fighting someone else if you notice in the commercial the man has a different shirt than jack is wearing.

Per the post, it says a survivor of OCeanic 815. Radzinsky wasn’t on that flight.
Who Name?
I think they meant to type that the killer is as important or shocking as the person who is killed.

I am going to go with Rose killing someone. Not sure who but I say it has to be a character we wouldn’t expect it to be.

Remember how all the others were at a place called the Temple before they came to help Ben get rescued from Keamy and the other Mercs? I’m trying to think of what would really be shocking, so imagine this. What if it is Lock killing one of the kids that the others took in season 1 as a sacrafice at the temple. Now that would really be one of those WTF moments.
Comment by ACslater — January 17, 2009 @ 8:13 am
it will be anna lucia dying (again) in a flashback, cos the island has moved in time and space she is no longer dead on the island so has to die in another time
get it?
Comment by helen — January 17, 2009 @ 11:04 am
It’s not going to be Locke. There’s an episode later in the season titled “The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham.” If Locke’s going to do any dying, it will be then.

True! And it would also be mindblowingly stupid and wildly out of character. Thank God there’s not a snowball’s chance in hell of something so ridiculous occurring.

I think it will be Neil Frogurt, and my guess as for who kills him is Dharma or Others back in time.

Too bad … I liked Bernard. Sorry he has to die …
Comment by BobW — January 17, 2009 @ 5:08 pm
Who said Bernard died? Did you just release a major SPOILER on a non-spoiler thread? Moderator????
You know, I think I’m done with these Lost sites. I’m sticking to Lostpedia for “post game shows.” I’m sick of jerks spoiling things. Even this “hint” is a major spoiler. So lame.

Guest. If you haven’t even the slightest clue by now, that sites such as this one, or Dark UFO etc., are basically mine fields for spoilers, then I’m sorry, but deserve to be kicked in the head. Hard! Numerous times. Thank-You.

I think the killing happens in the past. If you see someone off 815 killed in the 70’s or 80’s or whatever, you’d think wtf???!!!

Why? That wouldn’t be any more or less shocking than if they died in the present day.
Comment by Don — January 19, 2009 @ 9:35 am
Sure it would, Don, because somehow they would have to be alive in the ‘present’, ie when the plane crashed. do you see what i mean, they have to be alive to be on the plane…
Comment by Philoceanic — January 19, 2009 @ 11:30 am
JD - First, you are a d**che. Thank you. Second, I’ve been visiting the site since 2005, so yes I suppose I deserve to be “kicked in the head.” BUT so do people who post spoilers on non-spoiler threads. “Hints” and “teasers” are much different than spoilers. Usually I’ve been able to avoid spoilers, but I guess there’s no avoiding the jerks that want to spoil it for everybody. Too bad.
Anyway, see you in another life, brotha. I’m done here.

You’re not thinking this through clearly. Just because one of them died in the past doesn’t mean they wouldn’t be around to be on the plane. The version of them on the plane was the younger version of them–anything that happens to them after the crash, including going back in time and dying, would not affect that they were previously in a car crash.
Comment by Don — January 19, 2009 @ 8:09 pm
I think it would be a little more unusual to see someone from the present killed in the past, as opposed to someone from the present killed in the present, don’t you think?
Comment by Lostie123 — January 20, 2009 @ 6:33 am
Lol, It’s Neil Frogurt..
He gets killed by a flaming arrow sent by the people who raid the survivors camp. Kinda crafty in letting us think it’s a regular.
