‘Lost’ Dominates Year-End Best Episode Lists

Lost News — January 9, 2009 at 9:35 am by Matt

While we prepare for season 5, news outlets are looking back at season 4 and naming several of its episodes some of the best of 2008.

For the past week, The Futon Critic has named its 50 Best Episodes of 2008 while BuddyTV has named the 100 Best Episodes of 2008.  Lost made multiple appearances on both lists.

For The Futon Critic, parts 2 and 3 of the season finale "There’s No Place Like Home" took the #22 and #21 spots for showing the Oceanic 6 get off the Island and having Ben make it disappear.  The site also named "The Constant" the 9th best episode of the year.

Meanwhile, four episodes of season 3 show up on BuddyTV’s list, including "The Shape of Things to Come" at #62 and "Confirmed Dead" at #48.  Lost also has not one but two of its episodes cracking the top 10, with "Ji Yeon" at #8 and "The Constant" as the third best episode of TV for 2008.
