   I agree with you Chris, as I have posted elsewhere on this site. So far nothing has gone as expected. So far this is not looking like it will live up to the last two ARGS.

   Whoa, anyone else get the Voight-Kamff vibe (Blade Runner replicant test)? Especially when the tortoise question came up - thats straight out of the film… that kind of indicates that the test is to see how human we are, as per BR…

   Also, does anyone know if it is possible to fail? I’m curiuos whether everyone passes regardless of answers…

   It’s no fun at all…

   Weeks have past and all we got were a few lousy emails, an initial test that you could not fail and now test one: The Amazing Puzzle…

   Duh…

   I expect more from such a stylish website, but am somewhere confident that we will get more as time passes. After all, season five is still far far away…

   Solvieg:I like your optimistic attitude regarding the ARG. I don’t share it. I posted my disdain for the way things are going two days ago and nothing has changed. Just more delays and messages about the site updating. I really have doubts that anything exciting will happen. Now, not only do we get to play a game — I mean take a test — but we also get to challenge a friend. That is not what an ARG is. They should be interactive and draw us into an Alternate Reality. I can play better games with my friends on Playstation. Even if they have some ultimate plan for a more in depth story line as time progresses they will lose a lot of players due to the lack of preperation. And that message about “Patience Is Bitter” ,which was found in an anogram in an e-mail, was sent out after we were already ticked off about the site not being up and running on the 19th as promised so I think it is more a way to cover their a$$es when they realized the fans were ticked off as opposed to having anything to do with the game. I hate to be pessimistic but anything related to Lost should be held to the same high standars as the show. This ARG is not living up to those standards. So unless you work for Hoodlum or ABC and have some inside scoop then I cannot be as optomistic as you.

    This is a nicely done test. I tried it two times, and both times it had differently shaped blocks. The trick they have up the sleeve, is that a couple of blocks are always left over after the square is complete.
    I got 38 and 40 in my two attempts.
    Nice test, waiting for more.

    Solvieg: I have a slight bit of faith now that you might actually be a valid part of this game or at least you might have some inside scoop. The reason for my newly found faith is because I read this morning in a post from DarkUFO that he has been receiving e-mails from you. I am a bit weary though because you would think that the answers to the game would be found on the site given to us and not from some random person who posts on fan sites. By the way, aren’t you the same person that created the side ARG while we were waiting for the real one to get started? Whether you are a fake or not I will try to decipher your clues as there is nothing else going on. Even if you do end up being a phoney I will at least have something to pass the time.

    Notice how this last message from Solvieg you can click on his name. Its a link to a site for something called Cabin Life Magazine, like Jacobs cabin. and the picture up in the corner reminds me of the Others’ dock. I’m sure its all completely unrelated but i still found it ammusing

    Does anyone know if the groups they have put us in have any significance? I’m starting to have a little more faith in this ARG, the title of this test makes so much more sense after you figure out the trick. I was able to get a 99 after i figured it out, but I’m not sure if 100 is possible.

    Drachir,

    If you hit the spacebar right after you pick up the first piece to work on the puzzle it freezes the time and resets the puzzle. Then you can take as long as you want and you’ll score whatever the timer said when you hit the spacebar.

    Just a heads up. I’ve heard from a number of reliable sources that the messages from Solvieg are indeed phoney and not in game. Don’t waste any time chasing your tails trying to figure out what his pointless rants mean. Hopefully the game will get moving faster on it’s own so that we all aren’t so likely to believe every strange message that is sent to us.

    C’mon you guys! I can’t help it if you fell for my massive arg hacking talents…I was the originator of the Stop Time Cheat. I found it by playing around, and I thought I’d share. I am just a regular guy with feelings I am not a part of the game. I was just looking to peak people’s interests and get a conversation started. All I really wanted was some new friends to theorize about LOST and Dharmawantsyou.com.
    I am still “in the trenches” (not Sunda trenches either)with you, and if my monkeying with the site yields any further clues or info, I’ll share ‘em. I have decided that I have found my home in the Lostpedia Forums, altho I will check in here from time to time to see what’s up.

    Just done test 2 and I’m completley baffled by the last question!
    Does anyone have any idea how it works?
    Or if it’s a trick like test 1?

    The first time I played I pressed the spacebar and something weird happened…but now it won’t..
    and I’ve been put in the group Brontes….

    Guess this has some sort of literary significance…
    Just need someone clever to figure it out =[

    I will maintain my belief that they can get this ARG running soon, I still can taste the Apollo bars I ate over 2 years ago. I am hoping for something at least as good as chocolate this time around.
