Sci Fi Channel Airing ‘Lost’ Reruns Beginning in September
We still have months to suffer in anticipation before the fifth season of Lost kicks off in 2009. While we all patiently wait to find out where and when the island teleported, there’s a variety of ways to rewatch the first four seasons of the series. There are the DVDs, with the fourth season hitting stores on December 9, and you can also watch every episode through iTunes, ABC.com or Veoh.com. However, if you long to rewatch Lost complete with commercial breaks and a lengthy wait between episodes, you’ll be happy to hear that the Sci Fi Channel will begin rerunning the series on Monday, September 15.
The series will kick off its first cable run on September 15 with a block of four episodes beginning at 7pm, and will continue to run in four-episode blocks every Monday thereafter. Even though I see no reason to watch the show on the Sci Fi Channel when there are so many better options available, it’s definitely a perfect fit with the network’s brand.

It will still likely have more viewers than Battlestar Galactica has had. **snicker**

Your use of a snicker is a bit strange. Why are you snickering? Are you connected with Lost and, for some reason, perceive a rivalry between the two shows? None exists, as far as I’m aware, so the snicker just comes off as weird and dorky. Both shows are hugely successful and critically acclaimed.

Has TheTailSection gone to sleep?

no the tailsection is not asleep it is dying. when DocArzt lost the island(I mean the website) to the dharma initiative(I mean buddy tv) people left and without a leader the island(website) is doomed.

It’s truly a shame–this was once a great Web site, and the premier Lost page. Now…well, honestly, it’s become a collection of essays by fans (the first few were quite good, but after that they went downhill, both in terms of writing and editing) and links to news stories. I’m not one of those people who have nothing better to do than trash Don or Buddy TV, but I do miss how great the site used to be.

Well Alfie, what else would you like to see on the website? We try to post every bit of Lost news there is, as well as content submitted by the fans to keep people talking. We’ve also been working hard to keep the site updated with content while the show is on hiatus. If you have suggestions, feel free to mention them.

Of course there’s no rivalry. Lost is leagues above BSG.

I can’t help but agree with the majority of you. This site used to be the one and only Lost site I looked to for my Lost news and now it’s like it’s a gathering area for all of the Lost obsessed @**holes. People don’t bicker and attack each other on other sites like they do on this one. Like for instance I almost guarantee that underneath this comment I’m making right now some jackass is going to chew me out for something I said wrong. Every time someone says something on this site that means anything they get ridiculed and shunned.
There is no respect for one another around here, as an example: I posted an article a few months back on why I liked Lost and somehow I ended up getting harassed by some jerks that twisted my words around. It’s like 90% of the people here are just here to mess with other people.
We’re all Lost fans…can’t we all just chill out and make this site better through our own contributions? (ie comments and articles)

And I’m pretty sure if the articles were put under the name “Docartz” everyone would be just peachy whether he actually wrote them or not.
Get over it, he’s GONE.

Well said B*Locke, couldn’t agree more.

I was not able to see any of the Lost episodes on its original run, so I have been watching the reruns on Sci-fi. Now that I am hooked, what happens? I turn in to watch tonight at 7:00 and find a James Bond movie. If Sci-fi has the agreement to show these reruns on Monday night from 7-11 then they need to stay with it. Thoroughly ticked off!!!!

I’m in the same boat. Not sure what happened.
If you look at a TV guide, it looks like they aired earlier in the day.
I’m on the west coast and watch on comcast HD. Not sure what “feed” thatg is.
