Josh Holloway Lands Role in New Comedy

Lost News — July 2, 2008 at 9:19 am by Matt

The Hollywood Reporter has announced that Josh Holloway has joined the cast of the film Stay Cool.  He’ll be co-starring alongside a bizarre combination of actors, including Winona Ryder, Mark Polish, Sean Astin, Chevy Chase, Hilary Duff and Jon Cryer.  According to the Reporter, the film is described as a "knowing-your-age comedy, centering on a successful author (Polish) who is forced to confront an unrequited high school crush, Scarlet Smith (Ryder), when he returns home to deliver a commencement address to graduating seniors.  Holloway will play the former high school jock and ex-boyfriend to Ryder’s Scarlet."

The film will be directed by the Polish brothers, who previously helmed The Astronaut Farmer and Twin Falls Idaho.  It’s my policy to avoid any movie starring Hilary Duff or Jon Cryer, but hey, adding a dash of Holloway never hurts.
