Matthew Fox Eyes Big Screen Comic Adaptation

Lost News — June 30, 2008 at 9:15 am by Matt

It’s crazy these days how books and comics get sold to Hollywood before they’re even published, but that’s the way the game is played.  The Hollywood Reporter announced today that Matthew Fox is in negotiations to star in a big screen adaptation of B. Clay Moore’s upcoming comic book series Billy Smoke.  According to the Reporter, "The story centers on an elite hit-man who is nearly killed during a botched job.  He realizes that his only way to find redemption is to rid the world of all assassins."

The comic will be published by Oni Press, who also publishes the excellent Scott Pilgrim series that will soon become a big screen feature directed by Edgar Wright.
