‘Lost’ Season Finale #1 in the Ratings
Much to my surprise and delight, the season finale of Lost hit #1 in the Nielsen ratings last week. It of course helps that it aired against limited competition, and it’s a plus that the American Idol juggernaut is over with. However, it’s still great to see such an outstanding episode blow past the competition. Here’s a breakdown of the Nielsen Top 10 for last week:
1. Lost ABC 12.3 million viewers
2. Two and a Half Men CBS 10.8 million viewers
3. Million Dollar Password CBS 10.6 million viewers
4. 60 Minutes CBS 10.3 million viewers
5. NCIS CBS 9.8 million viewers
6. Criminal Minds CBS 9.7 million viewers
7. CSI: NY CBS 9.6 million viewers
8. So You Think You Can Dance (Thurs) Fox 9.6 million viewers
9. Hell’s Kitchen Fox 9.5 million viewers
10. So You Think You Can Dance (Wed) Fox 9.4 million viewers

Hooray! America you finally realized that there is more to life that so you think you can dance?

American Idol is for teenagers and wannabe rock singers who crack the window
everytime they hit a high note in their car. You make a valid point here. If American Idol and I use the term loosely had been on, Lost would have been just that, lost. It’s gonna be a long wait till next season. Come on people, this isn’t the Sopranos. Be patient.
