Who Called Kate?
Last night’s epic Lost season finale featured an interesting, totally creepy dream sequence. Not only did Kate dream of Claire telling her not to take Aaron back to the island, but she also received a phone call from someone speaking backwards. It was a total Twin Peaks moment, and now we have the audio from the call played in reverse so it’s intelligible. In case you can’t play the file, it’s a man saying, "The island needs you. You have to go back before it’s too late."
The big question is: Who called Kate?
Thanks to TTS reader Russ Boyd for submitting the audio file.

So…is that jack’s voice…or christian’s? or maybe even Locke…

It sounds like Jack, then Christian, telling her the island needs her and she has to go back.

“The island needs you. You have to go back before it’s too late”
It definitely sounds just like Christian. And it would make sense that he would contact her, being the “leader” of the island and all.
It doesn’t sound like Jack- especially in the word “late” that’s definitely Christian.

Sounds like Sawyer to me, would make sense, seeing as how he tells her he loves her, she might listen to him ?

Sawyer is my best bet, mainly because the pace of the phrasing seems like Sawyer’s.

It is not Sawyer

Nah that isnt Sawyer. The words were to well articulated. Christian or Locke. But Im leaning towards Locke because Christian could just appear by Kates bedside, especially in a dream.
Off topic: Notice how all dead people appearing on the island that werent on 815 actually have their dead bodies there. Ekos brother, Christain, yada. I think the smoke monster can take on the characteristics of bodies it finds and then can read minds (like it read Juliet, Kate, and Ekos) to make make up the mind of who it is impersonating.
