Ok I am a first time poster - so bear with me. I don’t think the island really moved at all. In the training film for the Orchid we were told that the bunny would seem to have disappeared however it had just moved in time. Maybe the island moved in the same manner.
Also my husband said the wheel that Ben turnned reminded him of a wheel on ship that pulls up an anchor. Any comments?

I thought the same!
I thought it could be just like a ship..but then, well!
You saw it.
It didn’t MOVE, it DISAPPEARED, so it MOVED IN TIME, not space.
maybe.
I guess.

Ok so the blue frozen room that Ben turned the wheel in(by the way why was it frozen?) anyway did anyone else notice the wierd carvings all over the place? It was almost tribal. Maybe the island had natives before Dharma got there and that room was like a shrine to jacob. Also, the elecromagnetic field next to the Swan station from season 2 probably has a shrine thing there too.
Earlier in the season when Lockes camp was under siege by Keamy, Ben went through his secret room into another room that looked similar to the donkey wheel room. Then the smoke monster came. I think this connects jacob and the smoke monster.
Wow that finale had too much in it! I am still computing everything that happened!
