‘Lost’ Flash-Forwards in 8:42
If I know Lost like I think I do, Thursday night’s upcoming season finale is bound to play with time in an interesting way. What better way to prepare for that than watching the flash-forwards all over again? TTS reader Dan Berry has created a flash-forward highlight reel in what is (most likely) chronological order. Check it out below:

That was awesome. It was accurate and sadly quick. But I loved it you gotta do that for season 5 and the flash-backs of a character.

That was awesome. I guess some day there will be a “Chronological order special edition” released. I think those flashforwards are great but it is certainly hard for someone new to the show to get into it. Great work and I agree with Jeremy that you should do the same for the characters.

I don’t think the order is quite right, especially the Ben parts and Kates trial.

I got the order from Lostpedia. I thought it was pretty accurate.

Oh man! That was so cool! I totally forgot about the casket (dead person) that Jack went to see. I’m majorly curious about who that is! No one was there, but it was obviously someone important to Jack or someone who Jack had some emotional tie to.

Is the piece of paper Jack had when he climbed out of his SUV prior to almost jumping off the bridge the newspaper clipping or the note from Charlie stating “Your not supposed to raise him?”
Did Jack find out he wasn’t supposed to raise Aaron before or after he found out his affiliation to him?

After, because he finds out his relation to Claire shortly after they get “rescued”.

I disagree, because we see him becoming the pill popping scruffy drug addict at the end of the Flash Forward of Kate and Jack. At the trial he was still fine, with no signs of a beard. Outside the trial she says that until he can accept that Kate has Aaron there can be no “just coffee”. So we are supposed to assume that they start to see each other shortly after that.

Awesome compilation! Thank you! When Hurley and the good Doc were playing b-ball, I forgot that Hurley had said that he thought Locke wanted them to go back…very interesting! Also, which episode had the Kate and Jack at trial scenes?

Episode 4 - Eggtown
The episode was where Kate was on trial over her crimes prior to the Oceanic crash. The scenes with Jack were when she left the courtoom out the backdoor and Jack was waiting for her.

yeah, kate’s trial was not after jack and kate got together.
it was well before. After Jack testified, they were in the parking garage and she said, “you should really come over and see him” or something like that.
Nice try though. do you guys not watch the same show we all do?
And JB… how on earth do you forget about the person in the coffin?!?!?!
have you been living under a rock or something dude? That’s the burning question on EVERYONE’S MIND… well, except for yours obviously. sheesh.

dwill is a dwillweed..
I watch the show.
Im just thinking they could be trying to throw us off a little.
So it could be possibe…even if its not the case that its before the trial…

dillweed?
what are we… 5?
who is throwing us off exactly? the producers? it’s not that much of a twist.
also… jack testifying @ kate’s trial is before they get together. #1. I already posted one reason. #2. wouldn’t the prosecutor bring up the fact that they were either engaged/together? seriously man.

Well to solve this little tiff, in the Kate/Jack centric episode, Kate mentions to Jack how happy she was that he changed his mind about Aaron. I think it was also mentioned in a particular episode that it was after he testified at her trial that they got together.
I will say a couple things, that the only storyline i think we can be sure of is the order of is Kate’s and Sayid’s. Those seem to be pretty linear, IMO. However, assuming that all the flashforwards in the most recent episode are in order is a little foolish. I think after they have the press conference they start having all these mini-flashforwards for each character. For example, Sun is probably 5 or 6 months pregnant when she goes to her father and tells him she bought an interest in his company. Another example, Jack states at his father’s funeral: “About 10 months ago, I wrote what I wanted to say at my father’s funeral on the back of a cocktail napkin in Sydney.” Jack went to Sydney right after his fathered died and then came to learn of his death. They were a little over 3 months on the island, and Sun was roughly 2 months pregnant. I would venture to guess that first off, Sun had her baby in this time before the funeral (or maybe even at the same time, she isn’t at the funeral, but everyone else is), and that Jack testified at Kate’s trial before that time, too (therefore, they were probably together at the time). However, why they would wait soooo long to finally have Christian’s funeral I have no idea.
