First Look at Episode 4.12 “There’s No Place Like Home, Part 1″
There aren’t enough adjectives in the world to describe how fantastic last week’s episode of Lost was. There also aren’t sufficient words to describe how excited I am for the three-part season finale, which finally begins tomorrow night. After "There’s No Place Like Home, Part 1" airs, Lost will take a break for a week before returning on May 29 with a two-hour season ender that is sure to blow all of our minds. To get fans prepared for the beginning of the end, we have some promo photos and exciting clips from tomorrow night’s episode.
ABC’s typically vague description of the episode reads: "The showdown between the survivors and the freighter people begins." They also list Battlestar Galactica’s Michelle Forbes as a guest star, playing the role of Karen Decker. She’s an awesome actress, so I’ll be excited to see what role she’ll play in the Lost universe.
ABC rarely releases scenes from the flash-forwards in the promo shots, but this week most of the photos show the characters off the island. Here we see the Oceanic Six (or five) at a press conference announcing their return.

Hurley’s parents return!

It looks like a lot of old faces will return in this episode. Here we see Mr. and Mrs. Paik, as well as Jack’s mother, Margo.

Jin is studying some sort of map in this photo, but I have no clue what he’s looking for. Is this a map to get off the island? Or something to help them follow the freighter folk?

Check out the clips from the episode below:

The pics of all the various family members remind me of the Seinfeld finale where they brought back all the past actors for the courtroom.

I don’t know why, but these pics and the whole idea of this episode is kind of scary and very unsettling to me. Maybe because it looks like its supposed to be the happy ending to a crazy story, but we know its definitely not. I don’t know, there just seems to be alot of bittersweet expressions there.

These are not flash forward scenes, these are the events that takes place in Island Time. Losties will be rescued in this episode.

Kate’s holding Aaron, so, that makes it 6.

Tomas–yes, we’ve known Aaron is the sixth for quite some time now.

Just annoyed that someone has coopted my hurleybird tag. I’ve been using it for at least the last year and never seen anyone else use it… so first hurleybird on this page: please find something else to use. I say enough dumb stuff sometimes without being connected to whatever someone else writes.

Also, Now is the time to keep a lookout for the Hurley Bird now that we’re in finale-time. I didn’t catch it in the S3 Finale but maybe it’ll be back for the 4th.
