First Look at Episode 4.11 “Cabin Fever”
Last week’s episode of Lost didn’t give us much in the way of island mythology. Sure, we learned that the island has a schoolgirl crush on Jack and that apparitions can hold babies, but most of the exciting revelations came in Jack’s flash-forward. On tomorrow night’s episode, "Cabin Fever," it looks like the mysteries of the island are back in the forefront. Locke, Ben, and Hurley finally make their way to Jacob’s cabin, and Locke has a run-in with the long dead Horace Goodspeed.
According to the official ABC description, we’ll also see what’s happening on the freighter, and get a glimpse at a young John Locke. That sounds pretty fascinating. Locke-centric episodes are always some of the best, at least in my opinion.
To prepare for "Cabin Fever," we have some promo pics and clips from the episode.
In the first photo, we see that Michael hasn’t had an easy time since Sayid outed him to Captain Gault. Lapidus seems like a fairly decent guy, so maybe he can help him out.

In the next two photos, we see Locke investigating Jacob’s cabin. I hope we get a few of our Jacob related questions answered in this episode. I’d at least like to know why Hurley is suddenly the only one who is able to find the cabin. Maybe we’ll discover whose eyeball popped in the season premiere as well.

Can anyone else see Claire in the background of the second promo pic? Think we’ve discovered where Claire’s headed.

K, sooo yeah i am super stoked for tomorrow! couple of observations from the video’s.
Video 2
-The doctor is in the background! so there must be a time issue in traveling between the islands, and if Sayid is going to take a boat to the island, following the jerk who’s gonna kill everyone (the head mercenary?), he may be too late. Time is at a different pace on the island right? so if Sayid comes into the bubble of island time, he may arrive hours after the other dude, or minutes. As far as I can tell, there isn’t any information that can let us know what would happen in a chase between time spheres i guess is the word.
Video 3
-I have a feeling that this happens before video 2, as video 2 alludes to more people knowing of this guy who’s gonna kill everyone (a question to ask, how does one guy kill everyone? prophetic or stated?). But something fell on Michael? seems like a blast or some other event where michael was left by himself, chained, then forgotten in a skirmish.
So what it all comes to…
Mercenaries seek revenge for being teased by smokey? (seriously, one guy hurt/killed? come on) Really that angry at Ben? isn’t Ben not even on the island anymore? i guess that would make me frustrated.

I think Lapidis is in the coffin. Jack would certainly feel hopeless if the helicopter pilot who knows how to get back to the island is dead. Just a guess, but it sounds plausible

here around brazil everybody is talking that michael is the one in the coffin:
* he knows how to get in and off the island ( and that would make jack angry, cos he was trying to get back)
* the funeral appears to be in a black neighborhood
* the paper said something about leaving a teenager boy, and also appears to say the name johnson
* the fake id is the reason that no one went to the funeral
* his betrayal is the reason that kate didn´t wanna go
* he could finally die after his redemption — saving the oceanic 6 or stopping keamy from killing everyone
if this wasn´t lost, i would say it´s a sure shot

Is it just me, or does Lapidus look similar to Jacob, didn’t he mention something along the lines of “And I thought I was the master conspirator”

Gabriel–the obituary clearly says the dead man’s name is “Jeremy Bentham,” not “Johnson.”

People need to GIVE UP with the Newspaper Clipping! The creators have implicitly said that the newspaper clipping is NOT cannon!

I’m going to say I think we will find out later on that Locke was born on the Island and taken off the island to grow up and that’s his connection to the Island and why he didn’t die in the fall from the building. This also answers many other questions.
Next is that Aaron was born on the Island and taken off to grow up, starting the whole cycle over again. I’m guessing this has been taking place over time and this is probly the 3rd time through the cycle. The cycle is the historical battle for control of the Island.

If your going for the time repeating itself, why not throw out the “Aaron is John Locke” theory? They both are adopted. Did Locke ever know his mother? His “father” was a con man, but was he really his father? That would make Jack and Locke related. That would be pretty cool.
I don’t think they aaron is child version of a grown up on the island, but the here say is interesting.

Just a thought. Lapidus was on the island in the last episode. He told Sawyer to hide Clair and the baby. But he’s supposed to still be on the freighter, right? What’s up with that?
Comment by Jingle403 — May 8, 2008 @ 5:42 pm
Nevermind. That was dumb. Obviously Lapidus is the only one who can fly the chopper. That’s why he was there. Too much studying. My brainis mush.

I wonder why no one is commenting that Aaron is Jacks Nephew. Aarons mother and Jacks father are the same guy? Any comments.
