First Look at Episode 4.5 “The Constant”
ABC’s description of tomorrow night’s Lost episode, "The Constant," reads: "Sayid and Desmond run into turbulence on their way to the freighter, causing Desmond to suffer unusual side effects." What those side effects are is anyone’s guess, but I wonder if it has something to do with Desmond’s formerly time tripping mind. This episode will also give us our first glimpse at freighter man George Minkowski, played by Fisher Stevens.
Below are some promo pics and a few sneak peeks at tomorrow night’s new episode.
Here we see Minkowski strapped down for some unknown reason. The bag with the biohazard symbol indicates that Minkowski might have some sort of infection or disease, which would explain why Regina has been answering the phone lately.
Another pic of Minkowski shows that Fisher Stevens is looking a little worse for wear these days.
Desmond arrives on the freighter, surrounded by two mysterious people.

Think that maybe Minkowski is Ben’s source on the freighter and the freighties found out and that is why he’s being restrained? Sayid rescues him and then makes a deal with Ben(?)explaining why he’s working for him off the island as his assassin? But, if Michael shows up, then we’re back to him being Ben’s source!

I have a comment regarding the biohazard bag and red sharps containers… The sharps containers are for sharp medical waste such as syringes with needles, suture needles, small glass viles, etc. The biohazard bag is for disposal of bloody gauze pads, used blood infusion tubing, used wound dressings, etc. The bag and two sharps containers are standard in any hospital or doctor’s office. They only indicate proper medical waste disposal, not evidence of anything contagious. (I’m a Registered Nurse, so I see this all the time.” :0)

Odd that Desmond has amnesia now in the episode that airs the day after the Lost game was released in which the main character has amnesia but also showed no signs of being struck on the head or any other cause for the amnesia.
