First Look at Episode 4.3 “The Economist”
Tomorrow night’s episode of Lost, "The Economist," promises to reveal another of the Oceanic Six to us while also providing lots of jungle action. The episode, written by the fantastic duo of Edward Kitsis & Adam Horowitz, should be another exciting hour as Sayid, Kate, and Miles team up in an attempt to rescue Charlotte from Locke’s group. To tide us over until Thursday at 9pm, ABC has released some interesting promo pics and three clips from the episode.
The first photo finds Daniel Faraday apparently studying a blade of grass. Why? I have no idea. This, coupled with his comment about the light scattering strangely in the previous episode, makes it seem like he’s rather intrigued by the make up of the island.
This photo shows that Faraday is still carrying around the case that fell from the helicopter. Is that gas mask going to be useful at some point?
After disappearing last week, it looks like Desmond is back. Will we learn more about why he went with Jack despite Charlie’s warning?
Sayid is investigating a bracelet found on Naomi’s body, which we’ll see more of in one of the videos below.
Now, let’s move on to the videos. The first clip shows Sayid finding the bracelet on Naomi’s body. The inscription inside reads "N, I’ll always be with you. RG." Meanwhile, Miles, who I’m afraid is going to be annoying and abrasive every moment he’s on screen, is demanding to know where Ben is. He says that he doesn’t know why they need to find him, but that’s what he was hired to do and he’s going to do it. Sayid then makes a deal with Lapidus, agreeing to find Charlotte in exchange for a helicopter trip off the island.
In the third clip, Locke’s gang goes to the location where Jacob’s cabin should be, but it looks like the cabin has magically moved. After Hurley protests the holding of Charlotte, Locke threatens him and reminds him who’s in charge.
Well since this episode is Sayid centric like the season opener was for Hurley it’s pretty obvious Sayid is one of the Oceanic 6.

Also forgot to add the case Daniel is carrying is not the same case we saw before with the gas mask and biohazard stuff in it. That case was more of a steel locker rather than the case he is carrying in the photo.

well this episode looks real good just as all the other ones have anyway but anyone want to hazard a guess to who the remaining 2 are of the oceanic 6 - my prediction would have to be sun and jin because i think that jack and the rest of the frieghter 4 will come to an agreement that because of suns pregnancy she will have to leave the island and also jin will follow her for obvious reason being hes her husband i personally think this makes alot of sense because there is no one else that could get rescued, if people say claire and aaron then i think not because im certain that desmond said that if charlie went to the looking glass and done what he done then claire would be rescued but i think des said that just to stop the visions of charlie dying also to back this statement up claire went with locke but jin and sun went with jack who is defo rescued.

Well as for the rest of the Oceanic 6 the next 4 episodes go as such Kate-centric, Desmond-centric, Juliet-centric & Sun/Jin-centric. You can take a guess from there that we already know about Kate and Juliet and Desmond don’t count as they are not part of the Oceanic flight but that does not mean they don’t leave the island. My guess is the last 2 are Sun & Jin.

Hey Seeweda, you think that maybe the info you just posted would be considered spoilers?!? You should really think before you put info like that just onto a comment section. How would you like it if i told you that the “He” kate refers to in TTLG at the very end is (EDIT: Removed). Ya, i didn’t think you would like that. All I am saying is have a little respect for the people who do not want to know about the flashes for future episodes, or anything at all.

Sorry but wouldn’t consider that spoilers and craig asked for opinions. I would also consider the photos and the 3 videos on this page to be spoilers so if you don’t want spoilers shouldn’t be here anyway. No it wouldn’t bother me if you said who the “HE” Kate refers to is because I have several fairly good ideas and mostly likely correct on one of them.

In any case, your point is ridiculous. If you don’t want spoilers, don’t come to a board discussing an upcoming episode.
And there was nothing disrespectul or inappropriate whatsoever about seeweda’s post. There was, however, a definite air of disrespect to your tonw.

thanks seeweda for agreeing with me with the remaining 2 of the oceanic six as being sun and jin, it all makes perfect sense -sorry to the people who probably didnt want to hear that i.e theory 156 but this board was sert up for lost fans to have opinions on the upcoming episode and weve done that, SPOILER COMING UP SPOILER COMING UP- in episode 1 when hurley goes to jacobs cabin and sees a guy sittin in jacobs chair ‘ it isnt jacob ……………………. its jack dad christian shephard …….. sorry. check out vids on youtube about it a guy had his ”team” go through the episode and brighten up scenes and so on and when they brightened up that specific scene there was mr c shephard, check it out, once again sorry if you didnt want to know but i warned you above.

The intials are actually RG not KG but I haven’t had any ideas yet. We don’t know what Goodwin’s first name was so it could be him. There was also a Regina Miles spoke to on the radio when he wanted to talk to Minkowski it could be her as well. I’m thinking Naomi may have a twin sister on the boat and it is this Regina which is why Naomi said tell my sister I love her. I think it’s possible Miles was lying about the code phrase as Daniel looked like he was never informed of anything like that.

my apologies it is r.g not k.g well you might be right with the regina miles theory but does naomi actually have a sister.
daniel always looks that way hes just a weird guy but he so cool
im still trying to figure out who was in or who could be in the coffin at the end of season 3 with jacks flash forward and who ”HE” is when kate replies to jack its doing my head in i cant wait for answers.
