‘Lost’ Season 4 Premiere Ratings Are In
It looks like all of that buzz from the season 3 finale really helped last night’s premiere of Lost. The episode pulled in an audience of 16.07 million viewers, which is a 13 percent drop from the season 3 opener, but a vast improvement over the finale, which had 13.65 million. It also kicked butt in the demos, ranking number one in the ever so important 18-49 demographic. The exciting season premiere had the highest ratings of any show airing last night.
As for Eli Stone, which assaulted me with commercials throughout much of the evening, it had 11.62 million viewers. I wonder how many of those watched just to see the Oceanic Airlines commercial?

I know I did. Never gonna watch that show again, why not just call it the Religious Propaganda Hour and get it over with.

great to know viewer interest is high. I wonder, though, how many viewers who found this episode unremarkable will be willing to watch again next week. I’ll be watching, even though it simply did not move the story line aggressively enough for my tastes.
I agree — Eli Stone was mildly entertaining but largely forgettable and all the more so if it continues to pursue what seems a subtle religious agenda.

Personally, I wish LOST would just answer EVERY question RIGHT NOW. I don’t like mysteries! I read the last page of novels to know who did it! Now! Now! Now!
(ahem)
I’m of course kidding. Patience, people. Please, enjoy the show and be thankful we get these 8 episodes to distract us from American Gladiators. Take your time, LOST. Take your time.

Yeah, I definitely watched Eli Stone for the Oceanic commercial, which ending up sucking because the game is already done, technically, so all of the clues are up. Which made it impossible to navigate the e-mails, etc. because you couldn’t tell where to start or where to go. I ended up finding things from Chapter Three and Five while trying to do things on Chapter One, but nothing on Chapter Two and Four.

I am new to the Tail section and this is my first post. I do watched Eli Stone just for the Oceanic commerical. fitting that it aired at the end of the episode. good one abc. Also, I find it funny that they are advertising that it is not to late to get lost. I assuming by that they mean it’s not too late to buy seasons 1-3 and then start watching, but to start watching today? seriously ABC? Anyways I thought the premiere was great and even though it seems like there were more commercials than usual. I am always mystified how the show continues to add more questions than it ever does answers?, but who am I kidding that is why I love this show.
