ABC Launches New Online Experience “Find 815″
People who miss The Lost Experience, the original Lost alternate reality game that was all the rage online between seasons two and three, will be happy to know that another game has begun. The new online game, entitled Find 815, kicked off on December 31 and is scheduled to produce content for players until two hours prior to the season four premiere on January 31. Fans can get started on the game by visiting Find815.com, where they’ll be introduced to a new character in the Lost mythology.
The game kicks off with a video introducing us to Sam Thomas, an Oceanic IT technician whose girlfriend Sonya was on the doomed flight. While watching a news report stating that Oceanic has called off all search efforts for the plane, Sam receives a mysterious e-mail. It contains a doctored photo of Sonya, with words including "Sunda Trench," "Christiane I," "Black Rock," and "Tell no one, grave consequences" hidden on the photo.
Sam attempts to reply to the e-mail, but receives an error message. Buried within the error message is an e-mail address for the sender, relating to the-maxwell-group.com. Looking at the maps on his wall, Sam finds the Greater "Sunda" Islands, east of Christmas Island, and circles it.
After e-mailing his friend Tracey R, Sam discovers that "Christiane I" is actually a salvage boat docked in Jakarta. He then e-mails another friend, David Massingham, to see if he can get tickets to Jakarta even though all the flights are booked.
This is just the beginning of Find 815. This game is going to last weeks and send fans scrambling all over the internet, following clues and hoping to uncover key pieces of Lost mythology. I encourage everyone here at TTS to post any theories or information that you may find either in the comments section or in the forums. This is a great opportunity for us to bind together as a group, share what we’ve learned, and see what mysteries we can uncover.
One thing is for certain: this is going to make the next month fly by a lot more quickly than expected.

Why did you give away all the answers to the game so far? If I had not done already I would be quit mad. Atleast give people a warning.

Hey, old veteran of TLE here. Any plans for The Tailsection or Doc setting up a site for ARG #2?
This one seems fun but not nearly as open-ended as TLE.

Doc already has a bunch of stuff on his site about find815, as does dark ufo (which created a sub-site).
Which reminds me — why on earth did Doc start his own site? I thought he was leaving the blogging world? Did I totally miss something?

Whoa! Awesome storyline.
I never played an online game before, so this is going to be my very first one.
Oh, btw, I live in Jakarta. So, I’ll definately be on the look out for that dock. If i found it, I’ll let you guys know.
