Lost Heading to the Big Screen
This is about the last place you’d expect the first new footage of Lost season 4 to be found: ABC announced today that in December, promos for the new season of Lost will be shown at all Screenvision and NCM employed theater chains across the country in front of all movies with a PG rating or higher. The promos will contain never before seen footage of Lost’s fourth season. The premiere for Lost’s fourth season is rapidly approaching. The first of eight finished episodes will air sometime in February 2008. Hopefully, by then the writers’ strike will long be resolved and the second half of the season will have resumed production.

PEOPLE HAVE TOLD YOU TIME AND TIME AGAIN.
WE DONT WANT TO GO TO BUDDY TV EVERY ARTICLE. THIS IS BASICALLY SPAM.

Well they don’t do it EVERY article. That’s a stretch.
But yeah, the headline was a swerve anyway = thumbs down.

What follows could be spoilers for season 4…
I work at a movie theater, and I happened to see the new promo tonight. First off, I had a major LOST geek moment when I saw the footage (wasn’t expecting it). The promo is pretty short (details that the plane went down in 2004 and that rescue would be in 2008..or will it?). There are a lot of very quick cuts/dialogue from last season and season 4 footage. Everything happened so fast, but I do recall seeing the following…
-Jack firing a gun in the dark
-a cow/bull
-Locke claiming that the people arriving aren’t here for them but something else
-a nonhuman skull with a knife in it
-blood dripping down and Kate looking up (at something/someone dead?)
-AND…what appeared to be Charlie. And what’s even odder is that he had a devilish grin and what looked like short hair.
Overall, a very exciting promo (hell, ANYTHING new is great).

Wow Doc, if it’s true that you’re John K., why’d you say you left us in the first place? I sure hope it wasn’t to test us. Comments were pretty negative to you after the Hawaii trip b4 you “left,” but after you “left” comments have been getting much worse.

Doc you loser. What’s your deal? I don’t understand what games you are trying to play.
http://www.darkufo.blogspot.com FTW!

Yup I emailed Doc and that’s not him.

Maybe we should get user id’s and passwords for this site to avoid alias identity theft.
Regardless John K has done a good job making analysis like the good Doc, but of course, I still prefer the Doc.
Comment by sk8rpro — November 30, 2007 @ 12:34 pm
Hey,
John K. hasn’t done badly at all, some of the criticsm has just been childish, to be perfectly honest. Of course we all prefer Doc, but hey, give the guy a chance. As i’ve said before, more posting and we’ll be good to go.
Comment by Cerberus — November 30, 2007 @ 1:58 pm
Sorry for this tangent, but I wanted to let you tailsection admins know your rss feed has been down for a few months. I’d greatly appreciate if you could fix it.
Comment by Steve — November 30, 2007 @ 4:16 pm
@Steve, no prob. It happens every time. Few stay on topic like they should. It usually turns into harsh criticism toward the new editor, John K.
Comment by sk8rpro — December 1, 2007 @ 4:46 pm
Doc was a nerd anyway.
Comment by God — December 2, 2007 @ 4:42 pm
I agree with Cerberus - some of the John K commentary has been fine. Perhaps not as great as the old Doc that we all loved, but sheesh, give the guy a chance.
However, I also agree with the observations that this site is really starting to look like Lost: The BuddyTVsection. While I can understand an occasional link, give it a farking rest already. If I wanted to read BuddyTV (and I don’t, I abhor that crap site) I’d go there myself. I’m really starting to resent not being able to actually read articles or watch videos on THIS SITE. And yes, I know it’s not *every* article, but frankly it’s far too many, and it’s going to be the death of the TailSection

Buddy TV is blocked at my work so I can’t see any articles that are posted there. I wish you would post them on both sites. Thanks!

Man, this site has really gone down hill. Nothing of substance on here. I mean, it’s better than the alternative, not reading about lost but come on. Pick up your game Tailsection. Make it worth our while. And, BuddyTV quit spamming. Your site is basically refurbished crap.
Comment by Homermoose — December 3, 2007 @ 4:04 pm
remember when doc tricked everybody for money so he could take a vacation to hawaii and everyone called him a shill so he quit his own website?
Comment by joe blow — December 10, 2007 @ 11:59 pm
removing TTS from my bookmarks.. the site doesn’t tell me anything i don’t know about Lost.. aside from BuddyTV being an apparent money making site with no thought about its reader, and also being extremely ugly design-wise, this site used to research its articles a little, and give the reader tips about the things it is talking about like; “Charlie is in the promo!” “Are those rescuers there for the losties?”
sad to see the site in this condition.. good luck guys..
