Javier is the Man in the Middle

Lost News — September 14, 2007 at 11:10 am by

Our favorite former ‘Lost’ writer, Javier Grillo-Marxuach may soon have a new show on the air. His comic book, The Middleman, has been given the greenlight to go to pilot by ABC Family. The comic, written by Javier and drawn by Les McClaine, follows a young artist, Wendy Watson, who is recruited by a secret agency to fight evil.

Javier has a long history of intertwining television with comics, having formerly written the ‘Battlestar Galactica’ tie-in, Cylon Apocalypse, and The Middleman is no different: according to Javier himself, the comic series actually started as a TV pitch before finding a home at Viper Comics.

Javier, the current co-Executive Producer of ‘Medium’, would act as Executive Producer on the new pilot.
