Lost Spoiler - S4E03 Casting Info
SpoilerTV has reported the following with concerns to S4E03 of Lost:
Casting Call:
Episode: 4.03
Director: Jack Bender
DANTE: 40s, Italian businessman, knows the fun of a little competition, affable, friendly but with a secret. MUST HAVE AN AUTHENTIC ITALIAN ACCENT/ SPEAK SOME ITALIAN. ONE DAY GUEST STAR.
First of all, Jack Bender is definitely one of the key directors for Lost, and by my estimation he also is playing Jacob. Maybe I’m wrong, but that’s my theory.
As for the character, Dante being Italian stirs memories of Gabriel and Angelo from Lost s2e11 - "The Hunting Party." Angelo was in a very similar predicament to Ben, spinal tumor. Christian felt Angelo was beyond surgery, but Jack being the water-walker that he is refused to back down and did the surgery anyways.
Doc’s Hunch: Not an important character in the big scheme of things, but watch for a Gabriel and Angelo connection, because that is what Lost does.

Enzo Valenzetti?

Hi Doc,
Justthought I should let you know that the source for this info has changed. My so called "source" actually took this from Sam G over at the Lage. I’ve updated my original post to reflect this.
Just thought you should know.
Cheers

Valenzetti would have been described as a mathematician or scientist in a casting call i’m sure
I never thought we’d actually see Valenzetti, and I doubt ‘dante’ will be him. A Valenzetti flashback would be awesome but it’d probably give away far too much info to be coming so soon.
How about a Walt flashback? He spent some time in Italy with his mom and brian. maybe we could see a flashback of the first manifestation of walt’s powers.

Surprised no one said this yet, but Gabriel is the Angel of Death. Angel can be connected to Angelo so maybe there is something there.

I don’t know were you get the idea that Gabriel is the angel of death, but every time he is mentioned in the Bible, it is in relation to a birth. Read first few chapters of Luke’s gospel

Not sure where to post this question but since we are discussing casting, here is where I will ask it…
Does anyone have an update on Malcolm David Kelley? We already know that Michael will be returning but little has been said about Walt.

was anything said about him prior to s3 finale?

Actualy, Jacob’s persona was played by one of the prop-guys in last season’s finale. Not sure how many appearances will he have this season, but I don’t think we’ll be actualy *seeing* a lot of him.
