Lost Spoiler! Meet Charlotte and Russell!
Yipes! What can I say. Heroes gain is Lost’s gain too, as it turns out. Kristin Bell may have turned down Lost, but Lost obviously turned up the intensity here.
The actress to your left is named Rebecca Mader, and the rumor is she is playing Charlotte on Lost in season four. I picked the most intense pic I could find mostly because its an unbelievable contrast to her ’sexy’ look. Those eyes could
burn holes through you! If you need a bit of convincing on the sexy side of things, take a glance to the right.
But seriously, Leung, Lance Reddick, and now this? All of these actors seem to have the ability to go from sleek to freak on command. What the hell is with the ‘Not Penny’s Boat’ people. Are they possessed or what?
Rebecca’s commitment is for less than a full season. in fact, it looks like she will be in for roughly half of season 4, which is only 8 episodes if you remember Darlton’s special arrangement. This could mean that Charlotte is not as much of a regular as was originally though, or Mader isn’t playing Charlotte, which would be a pity. Quite frankly, I can see Mader playing the sweet, sexy chick with the sinister snap a lot more convincingly than Kristin Bell, no matter how much of a Veronica Mars fan I am.
Also hopping onboard is Saving Private Ryan star Jeremy Davies. Don’t know much about Davies split personality abilities, but he is good actor. There is no intel pegging him as Russel, specifically, but come on. Why not?
On other matters, Michael Ausiello stated yesterday that Ken Leung may be playing a character whose background is so top secret that knowledge of his role is being confined to the powers that be. If that is the case, could Leung’s character represent part of a new secret group of characters? In that case, Davies could be one of ‘them’ as well. Intriguing, for sure.
We’re still early in the game folks, so look for more Lost Spoilers of the casting variety soon. These spoilers should give us some idea as to what the front line of the new baddies will look like.

not too many people saw “Rescue Dawn” but Davies ALMOST upstaged the super-awesome Christian Bale, and he definitely got way into character, as a POW, he looked like he weighed 90 pounds, so I doubt he will skimp on the effort when it comes to Lost, I could totally picture him as a genius mathematician, which I am glad about, since I really couldn’t picture Ken Leung as a brilliant mathematician. but yea, great casting.

You heard it here Leung is playing Dr. Marvin Candle as a younger man.

Keith, was that statement supposed to be arrogant, because it sure sounded that way…though maybe it was a joke, in which case it’s funny. However, I beg to differ on Marvin Candle needing a younger man to play him, lol! He’d need an older one! Now that cute Davies guy is just how I pictured ‘Russel’ who’s character I like already…this should be an awesome season!

Not that I care either way, but you obviously didn’t see Kristen Bell in Deadwood season 1. If you did then you would have seen her in that exact role.

Jeremy Davies I think makes a perfect addition to the cast. Great actor.

Jeremy Davies is very handsome and a very good actor, he’ll make a great addition. Put some glasses on him, slick back the hair, put him in tweed, he could be a math geek easily.
It’ll be nice to have some new faces and characters to deal with, now that a good chunk of The Others that were minor characters are dead. I hope TPTB make The Bad Guys really, really, really bad, I mean, “OMG! The Others are cute fuzzy bunnies in comparison” bad.

Leung is probably playing as Marvin Candle in a flashback episode to the origins of Dharma.
