Kristen Bell Says no to Lost
As reported by TV Guide’s Michael Ausiello late last week, Kristin Bell has declined the role of Charlotte on Lost. A sad day to be sure. A few reasons were cited, a possible broadway gig, not wanting to move to Hawaii, either way, as much as you may have wanted Bell on Lost - which was A LOT for me - you have to admire someone who will put a personal conviction, whatever it may be, above business.
Lost would have been the perfect nose-thumbing to the CW in the wake of Veronica Mars being canceled, and would have definitely enhanced Bell’s career. Of course, it would have also thrown here under the microscope of picky fans like us. Let’s not forget the fate of characters that failed to make a good first impression, no matter how well known the actor was behind them.

This is how I see it. I never watched Veronica Mars and I don’t know the actor’s work. But I’ve heard she’s good.
Anyway, I haven’t missed a single episode since 9/22/04. If I could I’d sweep the floors for all the LOST people. But what I want, my dream, is to have a scene, doesn’t matter if it’s a line, just put me in short shorts a tank top (on tank will say, I love Sawyer & his gourmet fish biscuits) let me go barefooted walking ever so quietly through the jungle with Goodwin for my part….and I can hear Locke say “LOST lives LOST lives LOST lives…….. So I get my 8 minutes on the best the greatest the most lovliest genius writing ceation acting show in the world. Pass me the mop. xoxoxoxoxoxo

You know I never thought about the negative impact the bad reception of Nikki and Paulo would have. Personally I never really had a problem with their characters. I thought they were nice replacements for Boone and Shannon. But when the fan crowd jumped all over them and beat them till they were killed off, that may not look good for other actors who would think about the cast.
Personally I am very upset about losing Ms. Bell. She was a great actress and I am man enough to admit I watched VEronica MArs almost as religously as I watch LOST. I was so excited to hear I might get this crazy combination, but alas no. And yet we move on…

Been a couple of weeks. I never had a problem with Paulo and Nikki also referred warm-heartedly by some as Razzel and Dazzel. I wanted to say the I read a while back that Stephen King is fan of Veronica Mars when it aired.
