Lost Casting Rumor Confirmed
Thanks to Andreas for this tidbit. Actor Peter Stormare confirmed to Swedish news-outlet Aftonbladet that he has been offered a role on Lost. The role will last for at least one season, and details of his character are not known.
Apparently, Stormare has until September to decide, meaning his character would appear relatively early in the fourth season.
Stormare appears hesitant to accept the role, recounting his difficulty in getting written off Prison Break when he got bitten by the big screen bug again.

He hasn’t accepted the role yet, so calling this an addition to Lost is pretty premature. The fact that he hasn’t rejected the offer right when he received it though has me pretty optimistic. He seems like he prefers to do movies, thus I gotta believe Lost is giving him a pretty good offer here.

Maybe it’s that lock of hair at the top but I thought he looked almost like the profile of Jacob that we saw for just a few seconds in season 3.

Cool! I knew it was only a matter of time until Abruzzi shows up on Lost. I hope he gives TV another try. I also hope he’s Jacob or a new Other or one of Naomi’s people(Minkowski?) or even a flashback character. It’ll almost suck if he turns out to be another 815 survivor
