Abrams’ ‘Cloverfield’ Drops a ‘Lost’ Egg
Received this pic from NDStageTech whose brother is living within spitting distance of a major location in Manhattan for the as-yet-untitled JJ Abrams produced monster movie.
If you’ve been keeping your eyes on the production, you probably know it has been changing titles frequently. Well, the title it is shooting under tonight is one that should be of great interest to Lost fans, particularly those of us who like anagrams. Check out this pic and see what you think. Stumped? Click through and I’ll point out what should be obvious.
Okay… you give up? "You Don’t Mess With the Zohan." Zohan can be anagrammed to Hanzo, which isn’t exactly Hanso, but given the pedigree of the film, is it impossible to ignore?

“You Don’t Mess with Zohan” is actually a movie that will star Adam Sandler.

I bet the production has great fun messing with LOST fans’ heads like this.
Is there anything that ISN’T some kinda connection to LOST , or is there always some whacky theory to connect the show to?
P.S. The posting method on this board sucks. I keep getting “You’ve posted too many comments in a short period.” This…after my last post like two weeks ago?

In all fairness it does look like a totally fake name for a movie.

Don’t mess with hanzo?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
What a nerd.

I thought the movie was supposed to be titled “Don’t goose the moose!” which is just an anagram for “Ego does to the moons!” That Abrams is sneaky!!

there have been production signs up all over lower manhattan for the last two weeks and they all say “cheese” under the production name for abrams movie, under a filming permit it does not pay to keep changing production names, so for this filming period its going to be cheese.

Walked by the street the other day where they are filming on the lower east side. There was a big pit dug out of the sidewalk. On the side of one of the buildings next to the pit was a large fake? ad for a futuristic mall to be built, next to a giant picture of what looked like a politician. Around the ad hanging out of the apartment windows were protest banners and signs opposing the building of the mall. one said “we live here”

Those who commented are absolutely right! This is an Adam Sandler movie. The above “info” is part of the problem with the “Lost” culture. I LOVE the show, but don’t have the time to look so deep into these things. “Lost” has been wonderful with their unique marketing of the show, but sadly, it also causes people to sometimes see things that aren’t really there.

I work in film production in NYC. This has nothing todo with J.J.’s project at all sorry.

Just out of curiosity, what is on that sheet that would lead anyone to draw the conclusion that it is for JJ’s movie. I don’t see anything there that would make me say, “this must be for the new JJ Abrams movie.”
Is it just the zohan=hanso thing. if that’s it then WOW!!! what a leap.

Thanks for pointing out “what should be obvious” (a.k.a. “what is an entirely incorrect embarassing conclusion”) . . . I feel so much more informed now that I’ve had something so obvious pointed out to me. Under that rationale, “Hanso” is an “obvious” anagram reference to “Sloan” from Alias because, after all, if you mix up the letters of Hanso and change one of them, you get Sloan. . . Well done!

another anagram:
Robert Hawkins=Barre Shit Wonk
What could this mean?!
