FlashBacks: Boone, Shannon

Opens on Boone’s eye. He is looking intently at Sayid and Shannon interacting. sayid gives Shannon a pair of shoes that he found as a thank you for her efforts at translating the maps. Hurley interupts Boone by asking why they haven’t caught any more boar.

FlashBack
Boone is finishing a tennis match with an arm around a girl. His phone rings and it is Shannon in trouble in Australia. There is considerable amount of shouting on the other end of the phone.

On Beach

Boone gives warning to Sayid not to see is sister.

to the Hatch: Locke and Boone make their way to the hatch. Boone relays that people are noe asking about what they are doing because they never return with boar. Locke says that what they are doing takes priority.

Jungle: Hurley is collecting large leaves when he encounters Jack. Hurley tells him that he is not feeling well and runs down all of the fruit that he has been eating. Jack tells him that he needs protein and Jin has been catching plenty of fish. Unfortunately Hurley doesn’t trust Jin. Since he refused Jin’s sea urchin, he feels that Jin has it out for him.

Leaving Hurley to use his leaves, Jack runs across Kate collecting something. Jack sneaks up and watches. She notices him, but he didn’t want to disturb her. Jack finds out that she is collecting passion fruit seeds. He inquires about it and she says, "follow me."

At Sun’s garden, Sun is working the soil getting it ready for new seeds. Kate is helping Sun and her garden.

Hatch: Locke is making some kind of paste saying it is for later. Boone askks why they are just staring to which Locke gives a history lesson of Michaelangelo. He was staring at marble for three months, when asked what he was doing he said "working." A few years later that marble became the Statue of David

FlashBack

Boone knocking on a door meeting at a house in Sydney. He meets Bryan, a very large bloke. As Boone enters, Shannon dismisses him, as if she is put out that he is there. Boone is hurt by it until he sees on her forehead.

Beach: Hurley trying to get Jin to tell him how to fish. Jin in Korean seems to tell him to go away.

Jungle: Locke and Boone are walking in the Jungle with Boone pleading with Locke to allow him to tell Shannon. Locke asks if has thought of the ramifications. Boone affirms, then Locke knocks him out with the butt of his knife to the back of the head.

Boone awakens tied up. Locke continues working on the paste. Boone promise not to tell anyone about the hatch. Locke puts the past on his head where Locke brained him giving some explanation that open wounds could be dangerous. He then takes out a knife and throws it in front of Boone. He can cut himself free when he has the motivation. Locke walks away. Boone strains for the knife, but as he bends forward, the ropes tigthen.

FlashBack
Boone at the police station. Pleading with the police to visit Shannon. However, the police can’t do something about two people that are just dating. In the police station we run across Sawyer. Boone tries to use status as a COO of a wedding company to hammer home his importance.

At the Docks, Boone confronts Bryan and offers $25,000 to leave Shannon alone. He says that he is the third guy he has paid to leave. They bargain for $50,000 and Boone writes the check.

Garden: Kate talking to Sun and Sun nods in agreement. Kate realizes that Sun speaks English. She learned on Korea.

Beach: Hurley and Jin fishing. Hurley steps on a sea urchin. Jin helps, and Hurley tells him to "pee on it," pointing at his crotch and his foot.

Jungle: Sayid creates a compass from a magnet, a pin, a cork and cup of water. Locke sneaks up and startles Sayid. Locke is impressed with his make-shift compass and tells him that he hasn’t seen something like since Webelos. Locke gives him his compass, and tells that he does not need it anymore

Jungle: Boone heres Shannon calling for help. She is speaking from different directions. The monster roars and Boone gets the motivation to free himself to save his sister. He runs and finds Shannon tied to tree. They are chased by the monster and they hide in the roots of the Banyan Tree.

Jungle: Sayid and Jack showing that North is off.

Banyan Tree: Boone protecting Shannon

FlashBack
Boone goes back to Shannon’s and figures out that Shannon set him up to get the money. Bryan gets in a couple of good punches before Shannon breaks it up.

Beach: Locke and Jack on the Beach. It is a moment where Locke seems agitated with Jack. Locke lies to Jack about the boar and explains that they are moving out of the valley to avoid the most violent predator. Us.

Near the Garden: Sun continues to tell Kate about how Jin would not understand that she knows English. She does not want to hurt him because she loves Jin.

Beach: Jin cutting something open. Hurley finally eats something that Jin serves him. And, Hurley hurls it up.

Beach: Jack gives Charlie asprin. Jack asks him about Locke to which he says that Locke saved his life. Charlie expresses how he absolute faith that Locke is the only one to save them all.

Caves: Mike opens a box he found in his luggage and smiles. Hurley gives him Papya because he is tired of fruit. Jin walks up and gives Hurley a freshly cleaned fish. Jack makes a comment about Jin and Sun looking happy. Jack gives Kate his own gift of guava seeds.

Jungle: Shannon and Boone are fighting about Locke. Boone says that Locke is only one that knows what is going on. He finally confides to Shannon about what they have been doing at the hatch. We hear Birds flutter and the monster appears when a tree seems to explode. As they run, it takes Shannon.

Boone is left alone looking for her.

FlashBack
Boone at hotel his and hears a knock. Shannon is at the door, drunk, with a story about Bryan taking the money. She is aggresive with Boone and they make out.

Room is dark. We see Boone’s silhouette. Shannon turns on a light and we all realize that has been blackmailed and betrayed.

In the Jungle
Boone finds a trail of blood in the creek. Downstream he finds Shannon’s broken and bloody body is on the rocks. She is most certainly dead.

Caves: Boone sees Locke at the camp fire and he charges with his knife drawn. Boone tells him that Shannon is dead, but Locke asks where is the blood? Boone confused sees Shannon talking with Sayid. Locke explains that it made him see what he needed to see. Boone admits to Locke that he felt relieved when she died.

Locke says that it is time to let go. Then he tells Boone to, "Follow me."
