LOST’s Radio Silence to Resume Following Comic Con?
That idea you had about the flood gates opening after Lost’s much anticipated Comic Con appearance? Nah, sorry. Word on the street is that once Comic Con is over, Lindelof and Cuse will again be closing the shutters on Lost Labs. How tightly shut will the info valve be? Will ‘trusted’ outlets like Kristin, Jeff Jensen, and Ausiello be given the occasional tidbit? Nobody knows, but trust this: the radio silence will resume once the boys have had their say at Comic Con, so listen close and savor every moment; it might be a while before you hear Carlton’s gravely tenor and Lindelof’s ever present snarkisms again.
Will the radio silence extend to the crew? I guess the question is, how couldn’t it? I know prior to Comic Con one of my buds in the Lost world will be touching bases with Dom and Evie, but beyond that time will tell if there is much at all in the way of ramblings from the cast with regards to the show.
I’m throwing my own speculation into the situation here, but this move could be related to the spoiler leaks of season three. Or, it could be that with the new production schedule the team is more focused on getting the job done and will time media appearances to rhyme with the inevitable hype that precede season four.

The writers must’ve been pissed about the Season 3 leaks - any writer would be having their twists and turns leaked out before the thing airs. I probably would’ve gone on a slashing rampage, which I usually only reserve for studio execs. Yes, please, lock the LOST machine down tight.

I think this is definitely related to lf108. I hope he got what he deserves. We haven’t heard anything, but I really hope ABC found out who it was. In a way, this is better than them blabbing about what next season will be, because it really makes it seem like it’ll be that much more awesome. Hopefully they resume doing podcasts next season.

Doc,
Glad your back!
I have been wondering for some time. How do you go about getting contacts in the lost world.
Also I think Damon and Carlton should trust you as much as they trust anyone. Your very professional. Sometimes it is annoying. Ha.
Keep up the good work man!

Its bad enough we’ve got to wait 9 months for season 4 without the radio silence. Even little tiny bits of info keep the hardcore fans going good. It keeps us guesshng and in anticipation of the next season. Argghh! NO MORE SILENCE PLEASE DARLTON!!

I like the radio silence. It brings back that air of mystery that’s so great about Lost. Especially in light of the “almost-answers” from Seasons 2 and 3 (Jacob is a what-now? four-toed who?), this careful control of information makes the approach to Season 4 even more exciting. Kudos to the producers for wanting to maintain some integrity in their production, and I hope it works.
