LOST - The Plane Crash From All Angles
A talented fan on YouTUBE, mrlerone, has edited together the plane crash sequence from all available angles; Desmond from "Live Together Die Alone," The passengers in "Pilot," and the others in "Tale of Two Cities."
It’s pretty nostalgic to watch it like this, and really gives you a sense of the linkage between the three seasons. Definitely worth watching. Great job MrLerone!

awesome job. only thing i could haved used was when he cut to the plane splitting i wish he cut back to the others pov to show the plane split from the wider angle. Also it would have been great to see the tailies and middle section dealing with the aftermath.
Awesome job though

Wow, great video.
Btw - does anyone know if Lost Season 3 soundtrack will ever be released and if so, when? I love the musics that played in the scenes where Juliet recalled her conversation with Ben on ‘One of Us’ and one that played when Ben shot Locke.

Wow, that was real well done.
Sorta funny/cool that we’re through 3 entire seasons, and just now we know how the first scene happened.

I agree- it’s really well done, the only thing I would have liked is a more detailed sequence of the plane breaking up- we saw it from two angles and the shot of it high in the air breaking apart should have been spliced in there. Also, the tail section hit the ground too early. Should have had a bit of desmon before that happened I think. Still, really cool.

Only thing i noticed that was strange was that when they were in “book club” the whole island shook when the magnet started to react, however i dont recall any shaking when the hatch inploded?? any1 recall?

The hatch imploded from the fail safe key, which let off the weird sound and changed the color of the sky. The key was never turned when the plane went down–it was from failing to enter the numbers in time.

this is video is way better.

There was “a whole lotta shakin’ goin’ on” in The Swan prior to the turning of the failsafe key. It just occured to me while watching that piece that Desmond has been in a hatch during all three season finales (of course, we didn’t know that he was in the Swan until the beginning of the second season). By the way, the video is amazing. Surely additional scenes and smother transitions would have been even better, but props to whoever took the time to do it. Wouldn’t it be great to see the entire novel professionally edited in sequence like that after the final chapter unfolds? Darlton? I hear cash registers…

Gus, if they don’t, some fan will put all ~120 hours in sequence. Imagine sitting through that marathon!

Okay… i’m not saying this is a fact…
But can someone get a screen cap of the air-bags that fall from the plane ceiling? They ALMOST look like they have the dharma logos on them.
I am 99% sure that is UNtrue, but can someone post a clear pic of one/them please?

That was totally cool! Good work. Note that weird metal object just above Jacks head when he wakes up in the jungle. Odd…

Great vid, definitely, but as with the others, would have enjoyed a few more little clips here and there, like the plane splitting from the Others perspective, and I think the timing is a little off in places, but all in all, love the look from everyone’s perspective.
This is the kind of show where I think the first scene might even have 3 more different points of view before its all said and done. We’ve gotten a different look at it every season up to now, who says that trend won’t continue…

Oscar,
That video is definitely more thorough, showing Charlie’s perspective too. In my defence though, that was made 4 months after my attempt, once people had made many comments about adding those bits in. I’m going to put those bits into my version very soon.
Glad people liked it.

TabulaRasa, funny you mention that.
I am a professional editor and I have already begun editing the show into chronological order. I’ve started with the crash and moved from there but will be keeping the flashbacks til the show is done.

Really awesome!!
Try to imagine seeing all this presented together for the first time. How do all these people connect? A chick in hand-cuffs, a doper, an alcoholic, a sub-urban book club and a nut-job with an underground computer room.
Neat stuff.

I agree that this is very well put together, and looks great but I would also like to see the tailies point of view and then I was thinking the other day when LOST is over, that there should be some kind of seperate dvd release or bonus features for the final season that has everything in chronological order, I don’t know if anyone else agrees with this, but that is just my opinion, great site!

As Oscar pointed out, this one is better in my opinion…

However, my opinion is biased because I made it.
