LOST Star Josh Holloway’s “Whisper” Pics
Completed in November of 2006, the independent horror feature "Whisper" (Formerly "Hellion") starring LOST’s Josh Holloway and Prison Break’s Sarah Wayne Callies is finally beginning to see some screen time. The film was released in the Philippines on May 16th and will hit Europe in August. Universal holds the domestic distribution rights, but so far has not issued a release date.
The film received generally good reviews in the Philippines, and seems to have a decent plot. Holloway plays Max, a down on his luck everyman tempted into crime after his efforts at a straight life start falling through. Together with a pair of more nefarious individuals, Max and his girlfriend Roxanne kidnap a young child. The entire operation is guided by an unseen fifth accomplice named "Jason." (how funny would it have been if his name was Jacob?) The quartet begin to hear ghostly whispers and one by one die by what we assume is the child’s supernatural command. With the group winnowed down to Roxanne and Max, the two square off over whether to protect the child, or to kill him.

Sounds decent, I’m a fan of horror movies and as far as they go this one seems to have more of a thriller storyline then horror per se. I’ll reserve my judgement until it comes out but doesn’t seem like a full fledged horror movie, but a good movie all the same

An unseen man called jacob, kidnapped children, josh driven into a life of crime,i guess the lost fims come early, not keen on the kid killing idea though

Hmmmm, sounds pretty good actually. Interesting parallels between it and LOST. Jason/Jacob, kidnapped children with interesting mental powers, Josh Holloway is a criminal, they hear random whispers… That’s actually quite weird when you think about it.

They could have at least given him a different haircut or something. It looks like he’s playing Sawyer all over again. Talk about typecasting

TYPECAST! he looks just like sawyer! can he not, not make that face while holdong a gun or something. And The plot sounds strangly lostish to me. horror movies have sucked lately so i wouldnt imagine this to be any different.
