UPDATE! LOST Best Drama Hinges on Looking Glass
I have it on extremely good authority that "Through the Looking Glass" is the episode which has been submitted to represent LOST for the "Outstanding Drama Series" Emmy and not "The Man from Tallahassee" as has been widely reported.
Thank god.
But Matthew fox should also be nominated for that one too!!???

I agree, and that still may be the case, we’ll have to wait it out. I think, though, that the plan is to provide a diverse selection so that the voters see a lot of LOST. You can see that the producers are utilizing their large cast to get a lot of different episodes out there, which is good.

I agree. My top 3 episodes for this season are
1. TTLG
2. TMBtC
3. TMfT
But TMBtC is not a good episode to submit to someone who doesn’t regularly watch the show. So, the obvious episode I would submit would be the finale. What did they choose last year?

I would put the brig right up there Brian.
As much as I feel TTLG deserves to be the submitted episode I’m upset cause I really think Terry Oquinn who was robbed for his season 1 nom (walkabout is my fav episode of the series), deserves to win. And he is in TTLG for all of 7 minutes. I sure hope TMFT was submitted for Terry performance wise. Even Further Instructions, though not as strong of an episode, Terry gave a great performance.

Let’s forget that “locke-mania”… Through the Looking Glass is much better than Tallahassee, even episodes like One Of Us, The Brig and The Man Behind… are better than Tallahassee.
And… i want to know what episode was choosen last year?
After the last year 0 nomination, I think Lost deserves all this nominations…
I hope Elizabeth mitchell will win her category with OOU!!

Now, I’ve got nothing against Walkabout. It’s a great episode. In fact, I can’t really say I’ve got anything against any LOST episode, but seriously, it’s that amazing. Sure, the ending is beyond epic, but the rest of the episode is Locke, Michael, and Kate looking for a boar and the flashbacks are all, you know, just okay.
Honestly, someone tell me why it’s considered such a great episode. It’s on my top 20, but it’s in the high teens.
There are SO many episodes that make Walkabout look like Three Minutes. As in, it was a good episode, a great episode, but nothing really “Wow” about it.

Ugh. Seriously? MoS, MoF is #9 on my top 20 list, but Live Together, Die Alone is so much better. Actually, LTDA is still only #5 on my list, but it’s the best of season 2.
