can’t wait! i think it will be worth the wait

I think they’re dickheads for even making us wait that long. Why 3 months later?
And the features dont even sound as cool this time, I thought we were supposed to get tons of extras and features to help us “pass the time” during the hiatus?
Comment by Dan — June 2, 2007 @ 11:03 am
I hate the wait, but 24 has been doing it this way for years. It’s just the nature of the industry. And something the creators have no control over, by the way.

By the time the DVD set is released, the hiatus will be mostly over.

They won’t give us a new Lost Experience because a lot of people complained last time.

I was just watching season 1 of lost over again and when i got to the episode when boone goes into the plane and attempts to make a rescue call the voice on the other end says there were no survivors of flight 815 ? Were we told in season 1 that they had found flight 815 and there were no survivors? Did someone already notice this and create a post about it and am i just saying old news? please tell me if I am. But if you listen very carefully the voice on the other end of the phone said that there were no survivors of flight 815, any opinions ? Did you ever hear this Doc?
Comment by DMS — June 3, 2007 @ 5:30 pm
DMS: I haven’t gotten to that episode yet, but isn’t the voice Boone hears that of the people in the tailsection, thinking THEY are the only survivors? I’ll have to check, but I think it is if memory serves me. I just finished disc 4 so it should be soon.

Disney Says No to ‘Lost,’ ‘Badder Santa’ on Blu-ray
Thu May 31, 2007 at 05:37 PM ET
In a late-breaking update, Disney Home Entertainment says that contrary to recent reports, the studio is not planning to release either ‘Lost: The Complete Third Season’ or ‘Badder Santa’ on Blu-ray this fall.
Earlier this week, the studio sent out an announcement to retailers for an Unrated Version of ‘Badder Santa’ on November 20. This announcement was picked up by several DVD news sites (including High-Def Digest).
That report was followed today by a major news story that originated at The Hollywood Reporter, outlining the studio’s plans for TV-on-DVD releases for the coming year, which indicated a Blu-ray release of ‘Lost: The Complete Third Season’ would arrive December 11.
Both releases seemed like great news for Blu-ray fans, but alas, Disney has just informed us that despite any earlier statements attributed to the studio, neither release is currently scheduled for high-def release. They also reiterated that they are Blu-ray exclusive studio, and have no plans to support HD DVD at this time (a recent IMDB report suggested otherwise).
Given the news, we’ve removed both ‘Badder Santa’ and ‘Lost’ from our Blu-ray Release Schedule. We’ll certainly keep you posted if/when either title ends up being confirmed by the studio in the future.

the feature on the others sounds interesting but i was hopin for the extra disc containin the lost demo and a contained version of a new lost experience. looks like that was just a lie unless theyre waitin to release that info later but why would they? i was also hopin for some unseen orientation videos of the dharma stations they found this season (the hydra, the looking glass etc.)but didnt have time to show them. they would be interesting to see. unless they r saving that for the lost game, where u can walk into the hydra and pop a tape into the machine and watch it there. its not essential but it would be cool to eventually see.
