Lost Season 3 DVD Art Released?
Is this the official box art to LOST The Complete Third Season - The Unexplored Edition? The image popped up on Amazon and is labeled as "user submitted," but y’know, it looks pretty feasible to me. Thanks to Brotha! for pointing this out.

I was picturing the season 3 box set in my head, and I pictured this, expected a jungle green color scheme… score one for me!

I personally don’t think it’s legitimate at all… looks photoshopped from the press images and altogether looks a bit bland… nothing to say it isn’t offical though!

I like it - fits perfectly into the vein of the previous two. The season’s character poster art framed by a season-specific environment (water, hatch, now jungle). I bet the leaves of the jungle will look better with a higher-res image.

My guess was that the box set would either be a Darker Purple, or Forest Green. You can tell by the general color themes of each season. Think of how light blue the first season actually feels, followed by all the yellows and oranges of the Hatch in season two…and the confusing expansiveness of season three most definitely feels like Forest Green.

Looks very cool, I do hope it goes out like that. One thing I hate is the way the plastic slip cover works–I’ve absent-mindedly picked up the S1 or 2 boxes and the damn hardcase and discs go flying everywhere because the slip cover comes right off when you pick it up. If they *have* to have the slipcover, the empty part should be on the side.

I saw on amazon it’s Dec. 11, so I guess put it down for Christmas; it sucks that it’s so far away, but it makes sense, because at that point, they’ll be wanting to start the hype for season 4…
