The ‘Lost’ Video Game Hits Your iPod
Apple has released a ‘LOST’ game for your iPod. Following a story line written by the producers of the show, the ‘LOST’ game puts you in the role of Jack exploring environments like the Black Rock, the Hatch, the beach. As Jack you’ll be able to interact with Kate, Sayid and Sawyer. Levels include escaping from the smoke monster, meeting the Others, rescuing Sawyer and the original crash of flight 815.
I’m on my way out to download it right now, and for $5, it seems like a pretty good price to pay. The reviews have been positive and it looks like a great way to use five measly dollars. Don’t forget, it’s only for video iPods and you must have iTunes to download it. Also, don’t forget that you can get ‘LOST’ episodes on iTunes, too!

Hurray!
After reading this I got really jealous as the UK iTunes store doesnt sell as much as the US iTunes store, ie the UK can’t download TV Shows or movies to thier video iPods (it’s sounds strange, but its true) AND we usually get the games a long time after you yanks, but alas it’s actually there to buy.
I’m actually looking forward to future bus rides now.

Only $5, that’s a bargain. Wait a minute it costs me $8 because I live in the UK? Another reason to download it elsewhere for free then!

Is that the same LOST mobile game? They sound similar. Or is it entirely different?
Comment by Lost2010 — May 22, 2007 @ 12:57 pm
That looks to be the same exact game as the cell phone game, only it has better graphics

Can anyone recommend the Cell phone game? I’m not that into cell phone games as it’s hard to maneuver around. But I do have an interest to DL this.

Sigh. I do not have the right ipod to play the game and I live in Canada, therefore I cannot download the episodes from iTunes. Hopefully a PC game is released soon.

The mobile game starts with the day of the crash. Like, the iPod game, it’s from Jack’s POV. Jack is the one who has to finish the tasks. There’s dialogue among the survivors; you can skip some of the dialogue by pressing 0 (zero). There are also quotes shown while levels are loading. The game explores the jungle, the Swan, and the Black Rock. There are obstacles and dangers such as poisonous snakes, super-aggressive boars, things for Jack to step on while he’s crossing bodies of water, and, of course, Cerberus - as in Smoky the Monster. There are also things to help Jack such as medicine, fruits, gun, knife, and dynamite. You can also enable sound. If Jack or any other character dies, it will say “game over” but it will take Jack back to where he or another character died, effectively letting you retry, when you press any key. I’m not sure where it ends because I haven’t played it in a while, but I think it ends when Jack, Sawyer, and Kate escapes from the Others. The only thing that I don’t like about it is that it takes longer for the levels to load, when compared to the NHL mobile game, for example.

Just played through the entire game, i kinda ends abruptly, leading me to think that there is going to be more… a 2nd game perhaps? or somthing to unlock…. only took me about 30 min max…. cool game though,
