LOST Moment #1 for Through The Looking Glass
Meaningful glances, sacrifice, and the art of war. Is anybody else completely, relentlessly psyched for the finale?

This looks like everything I have been waiting for for three years. It looks like it could be something you would see at the end of a series and not the end of a season! Im going to cry my eyes out when whoever is supposed to die dies. I cant frickin wait! Its gonna be unbelievable.

that made me so pumped… I can’t wait! I hope Sayid makes it, if he doesn’t I’m going to have a sad 8 months

that scene is just dripping with Star Wars style sentiment and music. Sacrifice and brotherhood, amidst chaos and ruin, all wrapped into a grand environment.

Nope, not psyched in the least. Just spending every waking moment being obsessed about it. Nothing unnatural about that is there?
Besides, whoever gets killed will be healed by Locke in next season’s premier… i hope.

I have so much manly love for Sayid Jarrah.
Comment by Dominic — May 19, 2007 @ 8:57 am
So who really is the leader here? Jack or Sayid?
Comment by DocArzt — May 19, 2007 @ 9:04 am
Well Doc the leader has always been Jack. He has struggled and succeeded but it has always been him. Sayid is the trusted advisor and second lieutenant. Sayid recognizes that Jack cannot be lost. He is their hope. Sayid knows that he will never be at peace and realizes that if anyone is to give his life, it has to be him. I hope Sayid Jarrah lives but I fear for his death.

HA! There are NO KIDS in that scene whatsoever. I guess we can end that topic over at the Fuselage.

Not really pysched anymore because of assholes that posted spoilers that were true about the finale. DocArtz you were the smart man..not DarkUFO.
Comment by Auroni — May 19, 2007 @ 10:25 am
Well they did say on the TV show here in Pa the other night who saw the show without giving any of the spoilers out was that at the end you leave yourself wondering how can the show go on at the end.
That tells me there just like the person said at the top this is three years in the makin, and will put the other season finales in the dust. If this is what we have to look forward to three more years, I am willin to wait the long break between.
I cant wait till Wed. ,….screw the assholes who posted the end of the show…dont read it and you wont be spoiled or mad.

I can’t wait! I’ve never really liked Sayid, but his little speech makes me hope he doesn’t die. Heck, I don’t want anyone to die!!

I think leadership on the island, as in real life, is a complicated thing. All good leaders need those who spur them on. It’s as old as the Bible: Moses couldn’t have spoken without Aaron; was Peter (the Rock), or was it Paul?
Comment by tomfishstory — May 19, 2007 @ 1:37 pm
My last comment was in response to the one where Doc asked who the real leader is: Jack or Sayid…
FYI

Okay first off you can’t fault Dark for the actions of some freaking morons that took it and posted it elsewhere. All those that wanted to be spoiled should be penalized b/c of a few’s actions???? I don’t think so.
As for that scene, it’s AWESOME, I love it. Haven’t read any spoilers myself, but I don’t think Sayid’s going anywhere and why is Jack so willing to adhere to what Sayid is saying but he wasn’t willing or didn’t want anyone to swim down to the hatch?
Sayid is the perfect right hand man for Jack and Jack needs to learn to utilize his assets more.

I have to questions kind of regarding the finale.
1) What can we expect from Jack’s flashback? Do we know if a shocking secret will be released?
2) (This one doesn’t really regard the finale but the show in general.) How come Ben is the leader of the others? Richard was an original member of the “hostiles”. It seems that Richard would be higher up on the food chain.
Let me know what yall think.

Is it just me or did that preview just completely make Jack look like Moses from the Old Testament? He’s a reluctant leader from the beginning and now is leading the people out off the beach to be rescued and taken to a better place.
Comment by iwanttofitin — May 21, 2007 @ 5:56 am
Oh god I think the season finale will be great, can’t wait to see it.
Comment by LuzZerd — May 21, 2007 @ 12:17 pm
ok. well im pretty psyched for the finali, but of couse there wont be that many questions answered. J.J. Abrams said on a radio talk show that nothing will be answered until the 6th season. but i guess we’ll just have to wait and see
Comment by jlamb — May 21, 2007 @ 1:36 pm
In reply to thrill’s questions:
1) it’s lost. there has to be something revolutionary from Jack’s past worthy of a finale
2)maybe richard is still the leader. maybe he’s just biding his time, making ben think that he’s in charge. I don’t think Ben’s as connected as anyone assumed. Just who were the hostiles? why were they against dharma initiative? and why were they so accepting of Ben to begin w/?
What struck me most about the preview was the music. that is not the average lost music. it was sentimental and climactic at the same time. this is going to be amazing. counting the hours till wednesday night.

So… when Jack says to leave him behind and to not try and rescue him, that order is disregarded at the first opportunity. When Sayid says it, it looks like he’ll get his wish. Man, sucks to be Jack!
