How is no time slot being named connected to the idea of ABC “wanting to put the show behind them”. It’s not that i don’t agree, although i don’t, but i just don’t see any correlation.
I would think that there would be some reaction….at least trying to find the leak?
Anyway I think you and Dark are conning us so I call Shananigans!!!!!
And if not then it’s all good man.

ABC announced thier FALL schedule. With LOST returning in FEBRUARY (which last time i checked wasn’t in the fall) then of course Lost wouldn’t be in the fall schedule.
a lot of times Fox doesn’t include 24 in the fall schedule because it comes on in january. same with american idol (although they sometimes mention it in the press release because people freak out and think it’s cancelled)

South_park300 is totally right. I learned this from the media buyers at the ad agency I worked at.
Well.. I dont mind the timeslot change, in Canada I watch it before everyone anyways lol, but AS LONG AS ITS WEDNESDAY.. I’m happy. If that changes it just wont be the same.
who knows whats going on at Darltons offices right now. I can imagine then having the enire staff in a line and interogating them. hahaha
I agree with lost staying on wednesdays because it makes the middle of the week all the more exiting and the week flys buy.
I’m OK not knowing the new time slot yet because once season 3 comes out on DVD at the end of the summer I’m going to watch all three seasons all the way through all over again. With my work sched, that will take a few weeks, so I’ll sit back, relax, wait for some frosh show on ABC get cancelled and laugh as Ana-Lucia dies over and over and over …
WHat’s to negotiate? They really don’t know what the Spring 08 is going to look like. They did say LOST will be going back to either 8 or 9 (my guess is 9)
So I guess what you’re saying is you didn’t actually read the article, right icyone? That’s okay… my day isn’t complete without heaps of unfounded criticism…
And yes, I realize it is their fall schedule that was released. I suppose all of you that admonished me with that fact didn’t happen to notice that all of ABC’s other Mid Season shows’ timeslots were announced though, eh?
I’m sorry, accusing me of being a hypocrite is sarcasm? Absolutely some spoilers are okay. Spoilers have actually gotten me interested in shows I’ve never even seen.
Doc I’m not going to spoil the info released today but rather pose a question.
What would be the ramifacations if a bunch of people just spammed the Lost “Ask the Producers a Question” forum with all of what was released today?
Would the producers sh^t their pants? How would this affect the show? Would people get fired? Would Lost go through major changes?
What kind of anarchy would insue?

Oh so basically how that post ties into this topic is, would this massively spoiler filled day have any affect on Lost’s timeslot?
Comment by Muscle_Bob_Buff_Pants — May 15, 2007 @ 11:44 am
No, no impact. But I would expect some of the openness from the LOST camp to go away next season. Which is just bad for us.

Uh oh guys, let’s not spoil when Lost will be on next year!
Pretty rich, Doc, moaning ad nauseum about spoilers when the third link on your menu reads “Lost Spoilers”. I guess SOME are ok, right?

Lost isn’t cancelled though. they wouldn’t have made that deal for 2010 otherwise. i’m not worried!…yet!

I hope ABC picks up Jericho and uses it as a lead in for LOST. I’m very disappointed that it got cancelled.
