Is Nathan Fillion Coming Back to LOST?
On her latest "The Vine" segment, Kristin from E!Online caught up with Nathan Fillion and asked him if he would be returning to LOST anytime soon. He said he is a huge fan of the show, is available, and hopes they will have him back.
This naturally means that the set photos showing Fillion hanging around at the Hydra were basically just Fillion geeking out like any LOST fan would given the access he has. Personally, I’d want a picture of myself worshiping the four toed foot, but that’s just me.

WHere did he find the time to visit Lost set? Isn’t he the star of Drive?

I don’t know where to post this so, i’ll put it here. If you go to MSNBC.com “Lost” has been selected as one of the top 5 shows that need to be cancelled. At the bottom of the article you can select from a list what show you think needs to be cancelled. After you vote, which btw I voted for “according to Jim”, it tells the results for the poll. Lost has been selected more than any other program to be cancelled. I know that it is getting the highest ratings for its time slot, but is there any actual danger of it getting the axe?

thefallguy1: A poll to cancel a show? That’s ridiculous. Even if a show is terrible, who cares? The only one who’d vote for such a thing is an ex-fan of Lost.

wow, that lost poll is quite silly…especially considering the show is just hitting its creative stride again…ah, bitter, bitter people…

Why would I care about an MSNBC poll to cancel an ABC program?? just too many haters out there…
As to Nat, loved him on Firefly - which I continue to watch in DVD reruns at home whenever a weekend is particularly slow :). Would love to see him come back on the show, but will just have to watch him in Drive in the meantime.

and I’ll add to my response to that poll, after looking at it–they say that “Family Guy” is an improvement upon the Simpsons…so the article has no credibility…unless a string of random jokes that have no bearing on story telling = ‘more engaging stories’.

Yeah, Nathan is a great actor. Last year my friends and I used to say that he needed to be on 24 or Lost. So it was a great surprise when he actually appeared on the latter. However, I’m not sure how they would work him back into the show unless they pull a trick like they did with Cooper. (not that that was a bad thing). As for the MSNBC thing, well, who cares about their opinion. I mean the poll has some of the best shows around, interspersed with long running and failing shows. Seems like Lost was just placed in their in order to attack the show. It seems like people only want Lost off the air because of their own inability to comprehend complex story lines and their want for simplistic television. People are always jealous of a good thing afterall. What they don’t realize is that there is already a lack of intelligent television, and Lost helps fill that void. They just want worthless reality tv about a bunch of spoiled kids.

Yeah msnbc poll… polls like that should be filed under ‘Only misanthropes need apply’. I mean seriously. Why is the world do obsessed with the expression of hatred.

He played some guy that Kate was with in a flash back. I think he was a cop or something like that.
I was actually disappointed to see him in such a small role. I’d have rather had him in a recurring role because he’s so freaking great. I’m watching Drive just for him but it’s not all that engaging.

TrillianM, in a flashback you see Kate actually married him (was head over heels for him too apparently) and was playing house until she couldn’t take it anymore. It was painful for her to leave loving him having lied about her name and about being a fugitive and him being a cop and all. I am sure the character is still wondering WTF?
Love Nathan he is way kool. Haven’t seen the Firefly show but will look for it now that its mentioned being on DVD. Thanks for the heads up. Drive after seeing 2 shows is turning out to be quite intriguing in the LOST style.
Love this board Doc, Thanks for all your hardwork!!!

Thanks Sabina couldn’t remember if they actually got married or not.
Do get the Firefly series and the movie (Serenity) if you can. They are totally great. The writing is very quick and witty. I’ve watched the whole series a number of times and I’m not usually one to watch things over and over.
