Evie Headed for the Big Srceen!
Evangeline Lilly who plays (duh) Kate on LOST will be Co-Starring with John Malkovich in a big screen thriller ‘Afterwards’ from French Director Gilles Bourdos.
Evie will be playing the neglected wife of lead Romain Duris. Malkovich is cast as a doctor who claims to be able to predict peoples deaths.
er guys does this mean like kate is the main character who dies?

not necessarily… they are almost done filming for Season 3 and I am sure the actors havea month or 2 off for other projects.

Evangeline has mentioned in previous interviews that she doesn’t care for the pace of working on a series.
Some of the s(F)poilers mention a split with the 815 survivors into Sawyer and Jack supporters (maybe the “Lord of the Flies” reference?), so maybe Kate dying is one of the develoments that causes the split? I’d bet either her or Dominic want off of the show, but evidence is pointing more toward Evangeline wanting to go do other projects.
Hell, maybe they kill both Kate AND Charlie.

Don’t forget Evie and Dom are engaged so if he is leaving LOST, odds are she is weighing the heavy travel schedule back and forth between wherever he is going to base himself and Hawaii. But she is under contract, I think, for six seasons (most of the leads are.) Contracts are, of course, made to be broken.

I don’t see how we can deduce from the fact that she’s doing a movie to mean she is going to die. Didn’t Matthew Fox make “we are marshall” and Jack’s not going anywhere. Just take some deep breaths and calm down.

Evie resp. Kate ain’t goin’ nowhere. The cast always get a summer break (they r human…) & she’s said in an interview that she felt ready and confident enough now as an actress to take on another project. Malkovitch being one the best actors around, now that’s one hell of a ego boost! More power to U Evie!
