Herc Puffs his Crack Pipe, Comes up with YET ANOTHER Flashback Schedule
Okay. For the third time this week. Here is the flashback schedule. It comes from Herc at AICN.
3.17 Desmond Hume
3.18 Jin & Sun Kwon
3.19 John Locke
3.20 Benjamin Linus
3.21 Charlie Pace
3.22-23 Jack Shephard

If he’s so unreliable, why do you keep posting his stuff? He’s only as credible as his sources, and since he seems to be your source, I’d say you’re next in rotation for that pipe.

Man, another flashback schedule? I thought 19 should be a Sawyer or a Locke flashback definitely..I would prefer a Sawyer, since his was way back in the first set of episodes, so he deserves another..but sounds good.
And an episode w/o a flashback? That wouldn’t be cool, tbh. LOST was such a big hit for many reasons, one of those being the flashbacks. I hope we get a flashback tho, and I hope this schedule is true!

This schedule actually makes the most sense. “the Brig” should be a Locke episode. Then Ben’s will be when he is a child/young man. With Jack’s being a 2 part-er..I expect to see Ben and some timeline situations.

Doc you didn’t post the whole thing….
UPDATE!! Another reputable source told us late last night that 3.19 WILL contain flashbacks, and they’ll be Locke flashbacks. So I called my original source (the one who said no flashbacks for 3.19), and that source said my latter source was right. The original source got confused because all of Locke’s flashbacks are very RECENT flashbacks. All apparently take place on Dharma Island (or thereabouts) subsequent to Ben reintroducing Locke to his daddy (the last time we all saw Locke). So the real, true and now double-confirmed flashback order is:
3.17 Desmond Hume
3.18 Jin & Sun Kwon
3.19 John Locke
3.20 Benjamin Linus
3.21 Charlie Pace
3.22-23 Jack Shephard
Apologies for the mix-up!!
END OF UPDATE!!
That means that episode 19 is an all island flashback detailing what Locke has been doing since ep 13 ala The Other 48 Days.
Thats why he was confused.

I’ve got your answer for how 19 could work with a Locke flashback. We’re out of backstory for Locke, right? Well…almost. We’re already missing what happened between the time when Ben and Richard showed him Cooper and when he said goodbye to Kate. A Locke flashback at this point would be “recent past” stuff ala “3 Minutes”: what happened during the previously mentioned interim, and what was going on while he and the Others disappeared. It’d be a deviation from the traditional flashback technique, as it wouldn’t be covering pre-island stuff, but it wouldn’t be so different from “3 Minutes” or “Maternity Leave”.

Dang it, Muscle_Bob_Buff_Pants, you beat me by a short interval.
Sorry for the redundancy everybody.

FINE! But episode 4.1 better be a Sawyer episode! Dammit.

When are we gonna find out who the Cobra is? I mean Jacob. See cobra and jacob are almost anagrams except the j is upside down and is acually an r….

I’ll be back in 10 minutes for the next update.
Newsflash: It’s pretty obvious the next two episodes are good to go as Desmond and Sun/Jin. Beyond that, I suggest we give up trying. The misinformation is going to keep the tail end of the season under tight wraps.

Let’s throw this in as a possibility (pure guess-work, based on everything to date):
3.17 Desmond Hume
3.18 Jin & Sun Kwon
3.19 John Locke
3.20 Dharma (as previously mentioned)
3.21 Charlie Pace
3.22-23 Jack Shephard & Ben Linus
No rule that says they can’t flashback two different characters in one episode.

I think Lockes flashback is going to be an On-Island flashback showing us WTF he has been doing… Like “Three Minutes” last year ….

Every different source says the same 4 the flashback schedule except 3.19 so we could assume that the others are correct and this is the only one that is doubtfull. Personally i think it will be locke on island flashback but thats just me.

So many Jack flashbacks in one season, including the finale. I wonder if we are being prepared to his departure from the show?

Not Super-Secret, totally un-official, completely made-up flashback schedule:
3.17 Desmond Hume
3.18 Jin & Sun Kwon (Possibly showing that Sun conceived before the island)
3.19 Cooper
3.20 DeGroots and Benjamin Linus (focusing on how Ben’s people were able to lure Dharma to the island)
3.21 Charlie Pace
3.22 Jack Shephard
3.23 Christian Shephard
There is absolutely nothing to back any of this up.

If 3.19 is another Locke flashback, that will make 3 for him this season, one of which was only a couple episodes ago. If Jack gets the 2 hour season finale, that makes the equivalent of 4 for him this year. There are at least 5 main characters that have only gotten 1; so what’s going on? The one I miss most is Sawyer. He only got 1 last year and now he only gets 1 this year & that was episode 4 last November. Give me a break & give me another Sawyer story. Tell me what happened to him after his parents died. Did he stay with his uncle till he got a brain tumor & died? Did he go into the foster care system? Was he abused? Did he run away at 14 or 15? Is that why he dropped out of school in the 9th grade? What happened on the Tampa job with Hibbs? What happened in Tallahasse? There’s so much that could be told with him.
The producers go on about how fantastic Jack’s story will be. That we will be talking about it all summer. Well none of his back stories have fit the bill so far, so we’ll see.
Locke’s last backstory was better than Jack’s, though implausible. (Surviving an 8 story fall, really?) If this episode shows a Sawyer/Locke connection (i.e., through Cooper), that would be something at least. Still, I’m hoping that a mistake has been made & that somehow we still get another Sawyer-centric episode this year.

I have a feeling that since the season finale will be 2 hours long that the flashback won’t just concentrate on 1 character but a bunch of them. In Season 1 both the premiere episode and the finale flashbaks were of the flight it self not just concentrated on one person. Or they could go the route of “The Other 48 Days” whish was basically a catchup on what had happened to the tallies. I’m just hoping the finale gives us some clarifcation on the history of the island. Hell, I’d setlle for an answer to ANYTHING.
And if the big cliffhanger this year is that there is another group of people on the island we’ve had yet to see then I’m done with this show. It’s bad enough they’re still living on the beach when there are abandond houses.
