No surprise that Locke’s going w/ the Others, but damn…buying into the good/bad thing so soon? I wish we didn’t have to wait four weeks to find out what the heck went on after he saw Cooper. Must’ve been crazy stuff.

I’m guessing this the “betrayal” that Kate feels. She knows Locke is freaking nuts (after he killed Patchy and blew up the Flame) and I’ll bet she didn’t feel all warm and fuzzy about Locke’s “making a strong case,” bit.
Way to go Locke! Is there any group or cause this guy won’t get sucked into? I guess Ben was right about his fondness for boxes.

Come on guys. Locke has been manipulated his whole life but not this time. He is doing things for himself. That was the whole point of him going through a cycle of reaffirming his faith. Whatever mission he had in his mind before going to othersville is still very much his agenda. Consider that Alex tells him that he is being manipulated before he ostensibly blows up the sub (the writers way of telling us to pay attention to this moment). The only thing we see after that moment is a soaking wet Locke walking away from the dock. Something blows up but is it the sub? Locke is tuned into a channel non of us can hear so a lot of his actions dont always make sense initially.

thefallguy1 - They could be going somewhere else besides off the island… like to Alcatraz or to the other side of the island… there are a lot of choices.

Lockish…it’s hard to tell, but I don’t think that’s Locke throwing the canister into the room, he seems a little too short to be Locke.
