Kristin’s LOST Spoiler Update 4/2
Kristin from E!Online has come out with an awesome spoiler concerning the finale… actually, I hesitate to call it a spoiler - maybe ‘claim’ is a better word, but a claim of the encouraging variety. Read on for the tidbit.
On the LOST Season Three Finale
Kristin Says: The LOST finale will be the finale that everyone will be talking about all summer. Not Grey’s. Not Heroes. Not the Great American Dream Vote. Okay, so I’m kidding on that last one, but in all seriousness, from what I hear, LOST’s season-ender will "change the show for good"—possibly in sort of an Alias-y Super Bowl episode kinda way. So get ready.
Doc Says: So did you hear it was that good, or did you hear what it was and your reaction is it will be that good. inquiring minds need to know Kristin.
Yeah, no kidding, Doc! Must be nice writing for E!Online…”You guys, I heard a THING about SOMETHING and it’s going to BLOW your FRIGGIN’ MINDS…oh, what is it? Ummmm…it’s a secret?”

No, seriously, I think the nature of a third party will be revealed. I’m thinking Dharma will be revealed to be a less than altruistic scientific endeavor founded by Hanso. So by the end of the season we’ll be questioning whether or not the Others are in fact “the good guys.”

Honestly… I have no idea… is it some kind of wardrobe malfunction? Kristin gives this kind of flap every time she visits the LOST set, and guess what… she’s visiting the LOST set… quick everybody, gush about LOST and they might invite us over…

While it is fun to speculate about what is going to happen in the season finale, I think it’s ultimately a waste of time. If it will blow our minds, that means we can’t figure it out if we tried. Can you blow your own mind?

I wonder if we get to see the “Bad Guys”?
When they hype up Lost, it fails to live up to the hype.
Can’t they just say that they think the episode is good?
I have yet to have my mind blown by Lost. Tom taking Walt, and finding out that Kelvin was the guy that taught Sayid to torture, shocked me. I hope this finale lives up to the other two.
I enjoy the show, and I prefer the less hyped episodes (TTID, GB).

Well to be honest every season finale had left us talking and wanting more and I can only assume that season 3 finale will be no different. Both the finales that we have seen have revealed something new on the island so what will we see this time? Other others? A new DHARMA station? If they have a submarine then whats to say they don’t have a plane, blimp or balloon? I can only speculate though because none of us actually know whats going to happen, which makes is so bloody great!

In the ALIAS Super Bowl ep, they literally destroyed the agency that Sydney was working for and really re-launched the show creatively. As a fan, it was shocking, but also refreshing to see such a drastic change in an established show. They were doing it out of desperation for ratings… Lost may be in a similar situation. Maybe the survivors finally get off the island and open a nightclub in Miami together. Then it becomes “Cheers”.
