LOST - What is Expose’ .. Who is LaShade? Find out NOW! Razzle Dazzle!
Here is a clip I swiped from ABC which reveals a lot about what Expose’ is, why it looked like a script, and even who the mysterious Mr. LaShade is played by Billie Dee Williams. Presented in state of the art YouTube Goodness!
This little bit of vid actually consists of two scenes. One will settle what Expose’ is all about, to a point, including an exclamation from Nikki that will definitely either make you laugh out loud or shake your head and say WTF.
The second is some beach action that is essentially a procession of old friends, including my favorite character of all time. (Care to guess who that may be?)
I’m not going to make Divx available because I was forced to do a cruddy screen recording to get the clip, so Divx would not improve it. If better quality turns up, though, I’m all over it!
This makes four scenes all together, if you want to see the other two visit my buddy DarkUFO at spoilerslost.blogspot.com.

I thought Billy Dee was gonna play the role of a high ranking other…ahhh damn it!

I think your dead on about all this buried alive stuff Doc, but I’ll one up you.
I believe Paulo and Nikki will wake from the spider-bite comas, rise from their shallow graves only to be mistaken for zombies by Desmond and promptly killed (gunshot to the head)
Maybe Nikki survives

Dude whats up with that razzle dazzle thing? That’s gotta be one of the funniest/weirdest things I’ve seen in a while.

Jump the Shark? How about put the shark to sleep.
Who cares? Even if something wild happens like Pikki took Christian’s body from his casket and ate it, I think they are a waste of screen time. I’m glad that Shannon, Boone and Dr. Arzt are back in a flashback, but that razzle dazzle makes me want to skip this episode and hit my head against a brick wall instead.

I am guessing Nikki is in some sort of soft core porn thing and that is why that scene was so cheesy. Too funny…
Comment by Erick — March 27, 2007 @ 6:58 pm
What if the jump the shark moment is Nikki and/or Paulo waking from their graves - or something - in the future, like a year from now (island time, of course) and we see something. You know, it’s a big reveal of sorts.
Nah, nevermind. Won’t happen.

Yeah just gotta go on record and say that the term “Jump the Shark” is one annoying phrase. I really can’t stand it any more

This episode is going to rock!
That razzle-dazzle thing is hilarious. I hope they explain it in the podcast.
I can’t believe Boone asked her for a pen! That is the coolest thing ever.

Wow, Doc, you were dead on! “Where’s the bag?” Brilliant!
Comment by Souen no Kite — March 27, 2007 @ 8:52 pm
I wonder what her name was in razzle-dazzle. Nikki something or Diane Diamond?
Great stuff Doc, I love reading your witty pieces.

Desmond changed who got on the plane via a Butterfly Effect they replaced Rose and Bernard.
Losts ends with Sydney Bristow waking up in Hong Kong and can’t remember anything that’s happened in the past two years. She thinks, “Wow what I dream just had”.

Hey El Prez, I noticed that tv show Locke was watching in last week’s episode too(something about Bolivian gold deposits & then “So you’re the Cobra”…)but had no idea how it was relevant. Nice one!

“Razzle Dazzle” = WTF for, like, 2 secs, then realised that it was a scene. My guess is either A) Charlie’s Angels-ish 2) Soap or 3) Porn
If this is supposed to be the episode that redeems these 2, I’m surprised that they’re putting this kind of humor into it. As usual, I’m looking forward to seeing how it turns out

The two biggest reveals to me are that we’ll possibly see Walt in an upcoming Jack centric episode, and Michael (who is working on a CBS pilot) is trying to work it so he can also work on LOST next season. This is a big relief to me, as I was afraid they would try to sew up a sloppy ending for them (like Mr. Ecko). I’m thinking that the season 3 finale will leave us with a nice wtf moment with Michael and Walt. Does anyone have thoughts or ideas as to how they will bring them back or what the hell is up with Walt’s ability (you know it’s got to come into play in a big way)???

that’s the same clip playing at abc.com

The Turk-
Thanks! When I was watching last week, I was trying to figure out what show he was watching, since the volume was so loud….I’m glad they’re keeping the “crossings” alive…But if Locke was a fan of her “show”, don’t you think he would have recognized Nikki??
Cap10-
I think we will see Michael next year, as he won’t have anywhere to go, since the sky turned purple..I think wherever Ben sent him will turn out to be a dead end…
I think Walt’s ability is his “manifestation” powers…If Locke can conjure up his dad thru the “box”, then who knows what Walt could do…
I thought Jeff Jensen’s article on EW.com was pretty good and raised some cool new theories…there’s a reason he gets paid the big $$$.
One thing he asked Lindelof that I REALLY liked was:
Are we supposed to be wondering what happened to the corpse of Jack’s dad, or is that fact totally irrelevant?
Lindelof: ”Yes, you should be wondering about that.”
You have to read his theory about the “Myth of Er”…put it all together and you get some cool roads to travel down, theory wise….
Comment by El Prez — March 28, 2007 @ 8:59 am
El Prez can you put a link up to this theory, or copy and paste in the comments section here….would love to see it.

I don’t think Doc Jensen would mind!

I have a couple of small comments. I don’t think they qualify as full blown theories. I will probably be proven completely wrong, but being a tailsection fan means never having to say you’re sorry.
1) Danielle is obviously lying about her involvement. If she had been involved with either DHARMA or the others or the purge she would have surely recognized Ben when he was trapped in her net and she would have spilled the beans to the losties.
2) I think there is a major power play going with the others. Maybe there won’t be a 3rd, older set of others but maybe just a division among the current others. Did you notice the little “look” that Ben gave to Juliet when Jack turned his back when they were in his cabin. She replies “thanks for keeping your promise”. You assume that she’s talking about letting her go, but I believe it’s something else. I also think that Tom has worked something out with Jack. He told Jack when he went into the rec room to talk to Kate that he needed to “be careful in this room” and then pointed to his ears and to the ceiling probably meaning that the room was bugged. Why would he warn Jack? I think we’re going to see a flashback episode that explains what happened to Jack in the few days he was alone with the others.
3) The giant hamsters Ben mentioned are the polar bears.
4) Ben mentions that some of his group isn’t quite ready to make a “commitment” to the cause. I think that there is some substantial thing, or ritual they have to go through to prove their allegiance to the island or whatever. Maybe they just have to make a pledge and get a free tote-bag.
5) I think John may have sub experience. He strolled to the sub and if you watch him knows exactly where to turn on the lights and seems to know where to go. I think he may have stashed it also.

I think it is hysterical that the “razzle dazzle” has created as much buzz as it has. For those who don’t know, it’s an homage to the best show on the radio today… Ron and Fez. New writer Brian K. Vaughn is a fan of the radio show, and mentioned in an interview that he would make a show reference. If you haven’t heard them, you can check ‘em out at:
