It is time for the second annual Hugo cup award! I wasn’t even aware of the first one so I didn’t even submit the site, a mistake I can remedy now. If you would like to see TheTailsection take home the coveted Hugo cup please visit:

But seriously folks, the Hugo cup is offered by the genuinely cool guys behind the Jay and Jack podcast and is by the fans, for the fans. Even if you don’t vote for TheTailsection, it is your duty to participate. So… go vote!

Sorry to say this doc but DarkUFO(.blogspot.com, (The Lost Podcast with Jay and Jack), (Lostpedia - The Lost Encyclopedia), and (LOST - StationZer0 - Lost News, Spoilers, Pics, and Games!) are beating you… Especially DarkUFO with nearly 100 votes.

Honestly people. The hugo cup… give me a break. Last time they GAVE the trophy to “The Transmission” entirely because that guy gives them spoilers. Jay and Jack are sycophants. For Jay and Jack and their limited ‘listenership’ to decide what is the best site amongst infinitely more popular destinations then their repetitive, contrite, and useless podcast is a fucking joke and you should be ashamed of yourself doc for even wanting to be included in it. It was so obvious last year that they GAVE the award to Ryan that it isn’t funny. As for sites like DarkUFO… PUH-LEASE! What talent does it take to cut and paste? There is zero zero zero talent on the commentary end there. Take the dignity you deserve Doc and refuse to participate in this contest. In my opinion Thetailsection doesn’t need a phony award to be the best.

Oh, and I forgot to mention… who remembers that andfound got nominated last year, right after Jay and Jack admitted that the guy works on their website… please stop the insanity. I STOPPED listening to Jay and Jack after the hugo cup because it was just so sad to watch all the mutual admiration.

Whoa. P. Ease up brother. It’s all for fun, and it’s not about being ‘the best’. All LOST fans are on equal footing. I’m just a fan. You’re a fan. Jay and Jack are fans. And DarkUFO is a good buddy who I support openly. This site was, is, and always shall be a writing exercise for me. I really, honestly, do not care if I win a Hugo Cup or not. HOWEVER, I do think it is worth promoting. Remember, this post says even if your not voting for thetailsection, you should vote. So I don’t think I’m setting myself up for any kind of fall. Its not about winning, its about being in the game. I would be deeply honored to win it, I’d be ecstatic to be one of the final nominees, but I’ll be totally indifferent if I don’t even place because in the grand scheme, what drives me to continue writing to you guys is the conversation. I love talking about LOST, and I couldn’t be happier to have the readers I have. I even love the flamers! So calm down, and don’t trivialize it. It’s about having fun!
