Not sure bout the whole claire idea of getting rescued but at least it shows someone is still thinking bout getting rescued which is good cos we have to remember theyve still only been there a couple of months you wouldnt of given up already.
I hope they do reveal claire to be jacks sister but knowing Lost they will reveal it to us but not to them as characters and we will have to agonizingly wait another season probably to see them come together as siblings!.
SPOILERS!
Could there possibly be a mystic link to claire being able to mark and define peoples true meaning like Jacks thailand tatooist friend seeing as they both share a similiar profession being Tatooists going by one of the pictures in your link of claire tattoing someone?
This isn’t terribly relevant, but it’s pretty hilarious to see someone using a piercing gun in a tattoo parlour. Obviously this flashback goes back a number of years….or someone isn’t doing their homework.
I haven’t noticed a posting about the spoken message in “Not in Portland Anymore”. When Sawyer and Kate go to rescue the “boyfriend” and he is in front of the screen listening to blaring sounds and flashes of pictures, there is a spoken message in the sound. I think it says something like “Only fools and fear can be trapped by space and time.” They replayed it over the local radio station - I think it may be played backwards. It is very quiet, but there!
Great info Kate! If this is in fact the case then my guess is that the others are not (or feel they are not) trapped by space and time. This would easily explain Ms. Hawking. The scientology like cross might also come into play here as a hint that the others are some sort of religous group/cult. Perhaps they are using science to unlock secrets of the universe and manipulate fate. I’ve had an idea that the others are some sort of puppet masters of fate.

Oh ya! BTW Kate did you know that the monster is really nano bots, and there was a dharma logo on the sharks tale? Betcha didn’t know that huh? And oh ya what does any of this have to do with the Par Avion episode?
Emilie de Ravin looks great with black hair.
Makes you think she might be Christian Shepard’s daughter after all.

Something interesting — in the “Not In Portland” episode, Juliet wished for her ex-husband, Ed, to be hit by a bus. We learn in the later parts of this episode that Claire had wished her mother dead during their fight in the car - and so it happened. Interesting?

not that she didn’t give tatoos as well, but the picture is of her piercing someone, not giving them a tatoo.
